QUOTE(maru @ Nov 25 2011, 10:33 AM)
i recently got this HSBC Amanah Platinum

i applied it during PC Fair....thought for fun only

and it approved.....the sales guy told me i only need to swipe 3 times in order to waive the RM50 GST....how true? anyone?

so what this card can do for me? seem only 0.5% rebate just like any maybank card which give u back 0.5%
upside groceries can rebate up to 3% better than citibank plat cash back. (normal spending for normal ppl, 6% for 3k? crazy)

Are you serious? Go redeem for stuff like hyper market or restaurant cash vouchers and can offset GST too.

Apply and then let us know whether HSBC records are linked to a master system and applicable worldwide tongue.gif

haha, gen x taiko, i not dare to try lah, if HSBC got unirresible deal like 7% interest for FD or 25% cash back and no cap for their CC, then i will try. for the moment i will try to avoid. own fault, greed when young.
