HSBS Amanah cashback program now extended to whole 2015 (1 January 2015 until 31 December 2015).

The maximum Cash Back on Petrol, Groceries and Dining is capped at RM4,000,000 (previously RM5,200,000) throughout the Programme Period and will be awarded/given out on a first come, first served basis.

That's about RM333,333 cashback per month.

Cash Back is only applicable for spend made during weekends i.e. Saturdays and Sundays during Programme Period. The maximum Cash Back on Petrol, Groceries and Dining for Each Eligible Cardholder(s) is RM100 per participating month and an unlimited Cash Back for other categories from core product features. Participating merchants nationwide: Petrol - Shell, Caltex and Petronas. Groceries - Giant, Tesco and AEON Big. Dining - Any spend that are made at local merchants categorized as Dining in the Merchant Category Codes.




Monthly spend below RM2000, it's now 3% cash back, last year was 5%.
All other local spend is now 0.2% rebate, last year was 0.3%

looks like hsbc cant keep up with the total amount. time to cancel it.
5% is useful but only for weekend but now it is only 3% on weekend. nice work hsbc.
and 0.2% was like nothing

so now the only benefit was spending more than 2k per month to earn the cb or use it in overseas.
