I just got my HSBC Visa Gold end of April 2011 and they just charged me RM50 for the GST...any ways that i could waive it ?

Did any of you get a call from HSBC offering 0% balance transfer for 6 months? Woke me up at 8.40am 

spend rm150x2 per week (rm300), and get rm50 AA voucher only

a. Swipe a minimum of two (2) times in a Participating Week; and
b. Spend must be of a minimum RM150 per swipe; and
c. Spend must only be on shopping, petrol, dining, departmental stores, groceries

2+ months ago, i redeem a Graco Mirage stroller using my HSBC points (89k). i receive it last month and found that the stroller is a bit faulty. One of the locking mechanism is bend and not able to lock well.
Call to the service center and they request me to send to nearest HSBC branch for checking.. Went to the hsbc branch nearby Queensbay Penang and they said they will send bck to KL to fix it..

Receive back the stroller on last week and found that the stroller is still having the same problem.. Plan to go bck to the HSBC branch this week. Anyone know whether I can request them to change for a new one?

its basically another hidden insurance policy enforced on the credit cardholder by default.

yes you can. For Maybank2u, it's under the Interbank GIRO part.

You can put your HSBC CC under the Favourite Interbank GIRO Transfer. that makes payment a lot easier.

Why Supplementary need waive RM50? I thought the tax is only RM25?

can someone explain how the swipe 5 times work?

HSBC 5 Swipes Promo
- some confusion over the (minimum) 5 swipes must be made during a participation week OR during the promo period (total of 6 weeks).
- referring to the T&C example 1, it appears to be 5 swipes during the 6 weeks. Depending on cash availability, cardholders will fulfill the criteria in the week during which the 5th swipe occurs.

Anyone can clarify this?

For HSBC Visa Signature, if I fail to have 12 transactions a year and I am charged annual fee of RM600 and GST of RM50, can I cancel the card and refuse to pay both the annual fee and GST? Assume I have just been charged this month.

What I mean is is it too late to cancel the card after I have been charged?
