Hi All,

I don't understand the HSBC 6% cash back thingy. So I have to spent RM3000 on grocery + petrol before I can get 6% cash back? and If I spent RM3000 on 15/10, so I have 15/10 - 14/11 to accumulate the 6% cash back (up to RM50 on grocery and petrol only?) or 15/10 till 31/10?

Kinda of confusing, can't find much information on HSBC website.

Thanks.

1st, the 6% is only for m-power platinum card.

2nd, petrol only shell, caltex & petronas while groceries only tesco, giant & carrefour.

3rd, spend per calendar month, so the answer for ur question is till 31/10.

Thank you for the link. Much appreciated. One more question, do I need to send in SMS to be eligible?

2+ months ago, i redeem a Graco Mirage stroller using my HSBC points (89k). i receive it last month and found that the stroller is a bit faulty. One of the locking mechanism is bend and not able to lock well.
Call to the service center and they request me to send to nearest HSBC branch for checking.. Went to the hsbc branch nearby Queensbay Penang and they said they will send bck to KL to fix it..

Receive back the stroller on last week and found that the stroller is still having the same problem.. Plan to go bck to the HSBC branch this week. Anyone know whether I can request them to change for a new one?

Thanks.

It's in KL while I'm in Penang.
Furthermore, HSBC shld be the responsible party since we are exchanging it using our point (sort like buying too)..

Some promotions are applicable only to Platinum Card and the travel insurance coverage is higher.

i recently got this HSBC Amanah Platinum

i applied it during PC Fair....thought for fun only

and it approved.....the sales guy told me i only need to swipe 3 times in order to waive the RM50 GST....how true? anyone?

so what this card can do for me? seem only 0.5% rebate just like any maybank card which give u back 0.5%

upside groceries can rebate up to 3% better than citibank plat cash back. (normal spending for normal ppl, 6% for 3k? crazy)
