there is no debit card and credit card for students in malaysia, only singapore (for debit card, while other bank do offer credit card for students).

unless, he/she working part-time, have salary slip at least rm2k/month, then can apply.

no hsbc debit card in malaysia (but in singapore yes).

no credit card for students in malaysia, but there are certain bank in singapore offer this (credit card for students).

here in malaysia, min salary to apply credit card is rm2k/month.
so if student can provide salary slip with that amount, then can apply for cc.

Spend RM300 for RM50 voucher is approx 16.67% cash back... not bad at all.
Again, this is based who's the fastest spender competition. First 1200 CC holders per week.

i prefer they give rm50 cash credited to statement rather than AA voucher.

besides, swipes rm150x2 in a week is not easy, unless, u buy something u want, not something u need sweat.gif

Hi All,

I don't understand the HSBC 6% cash back thingy. So I have to spent RM3000 on grocery + petrol before I can get 6% cash back? and If I spent RM3000 on 15/10, so I have 15/10 - 14/11 to accumulate the 6% cash back (up to RM50 on grocery and petrol only?) or 15/10 till 31/10?

Kinda of confusing, can't find much information on HSBC website.

Thanks.
