QUOTE(jackiewong @ Feb 29 2012, 11:29 PM) what is the difference between myofusion hydro n myofusion probiotic?. which 1 is better in term of nutrition? Marketing gimmick. As long as macros are there screw that. If it's same price then maybe the later one is better. If they use this shit as an excuse to ramp up the price like crazy, then you know la. Added on February 29, 2012, 11:40 pm QUOTE(alien9 @ Feb 29 2012, 09:37 PM) Darklight, how much caffeine does your suggestion provide? Been drinking 800ml Pepsi MAX intra-workout. Got 96mg of caffeine from it. Sigh.... This post has been edited by darklight79: Feb 29 2012, 11:40 PM |

I have been reading a lot about the difference between whey & protein blend.. from my understanding, protein blend contained more protein sources (5-6 difference sources of protein) with higher fat than whey protein in a tub, while whey is the 1 and only source in a tub.. whey is faster released and adsorbed to our body for faster repair n recovery.. while protein blend has a longer period releasing (some said 5-6 hours) for continuously providing protein to our body.. but im not very clear about fast release or slow release is better for muscle repairing, recovery n gaining.. i know there are a lot of comments where some support whey n some support protein blend.. but theoretically which is giving better result base on our body digesting, absorbing, repairing n recovery system.. due to the involvement of doctor with their professional knowledge in this topic.. i think posting here to get their comment will be much quality than just reading other users' comment (most likely body builder with lesser knowledge about health or purely muscle building mind)..
a humble thx n sorry for the noob n lengthy post.. no offense to anyone and fully respect to all body builder here.. This post has been edited by jackiewong: Mar 1 2012, 10:32 AM |

Do not worry about things like absorption speed. Especially when your diet consists of mixed meals and sources. The end result is the same. Pick a brand that you like.a humble thx n sorry for the noob n lengthy post.. no offense to anyone and fully respect to all body builder here.. |

QUOTE(ILECHZ @ Mar 1 2012, 12:40 PM) Expensive for beginner but good. Would recommend switching to ON or Myofusion after your first tub of Nitro-Tech. because cheaper. Or you can just get any protein and get a creatine supplement. much cheaper in the long run IMOFor my question.. Guys lately I've been feeling really lethargic whenever I hit the gym, could be the stress of exams lately but it has never happened to me before during the last 1.5 years I worked out. Anyway, maybe going to try out some pre-workout supps, are they good? I used to think they're only some psychological stuff and that they make you feel powerful but they dont' really have any good 'effects' like help you gain more muscle because my friend said the reps and weight he did were the same like when he never took his jack3d. So if any of you guys tried out good pre-workout supps and have recommendations please recommend me This post has been edited by KingArthurVI: Mar 1 2012, 08:32 PM |

The rest are either doesn't do what its advertised to do or severely underdosed to see any benefits (proprietary blend). If you've got the money to spend, then by all means go for it. Popular brands are the concentrated stuff like jack3d, hemo rage. Personally I get the ingredients separately and mix it myself with the clinical doses. For my question.. Like DL keeps saying, just down a cup or two of coffee, no sugar or milk, pre-WO.Or if you really want a supplement, SPMax and Jack3d have worked well for me. Though I got used to SPMax quite fast and had to up the servings to get the energy boosts again. |

I see, thanks guys! I think I might get a supp and only take it when I really feel tired to go to gym because don't wanna make my body too dependent on it and need to up the dose. I would love to just have coffee but all I have at home is 3-in-1s, they are like super sweet. Where do you guys get your coffee? A coffee machine is very expensive
And for my pre-workout supp, if I'm comparing between jack3d vs superpump MAX vs N.O xplode, which would be the best? |

Never tried N.O. Xplode before but between the other two, Jack3d is my pick.

It's weird that I tend to puke when taking pre-workouts. Only one that kept me alive was jack3d. But reading the many reviews on jack3d, they say it's shit.
Lol. |
