Okay brothers, I just got a brand new pack of Optimum Nutrition's "Serious Mass". I'm trying to gain weight as I want to look a bit bigger (obviously). I'm 18 and I weigh just 61 kilograms. My height's about 178 centimetres.

I tried one pack of O.N's "Serious Mass" last month, and I did not see any improvements whatsoever, but I've only got myself to blame for this as I did not obey the recommended serving style (2 heaping scoops of powder per day), as I only took one full scoop a day.

But I'm a bit confused on how to divide my intake of this powder. Is it entirely up to me? What's the best way to do it? I don't want to waste another RM250 for nothing (as I didn't see any improvement with the last pack).

Any other tips for me?

Thanks!

Dang.. I spoke to at least three different nutritionists, and they all recommended O.N's "Serious Mass" as well as another product known as "True Mass". Now that I already have a pack, what can I do to squeeze the most out of it?

Thanks doc!

Were these 'nutritionists' staff at the store you bought the supplements, or nutritionists in an independent company?

Right now, see here. The thing about supplements is that they're meant to supplement your diet (which needs to be solid in the first place). They will do you no good if you aren't eating enough as mike said. I personally have made gains on a bag of serious mass but that's because I had the rest of my stuff in check (diet, training and rest). These factors need each other to work and give you improvements, take out one and you don't get progress.

That says it all. Nutritionists or not, at the end of the day they want you to buy their products. And GNC's way overpriced, man. Getting your supps online is much cheaper, just sayin'.

Hmmph, I train pretty hard but my diet is rubbish. I don't keep track of my calorie intake, but I do try to eat a lot. Looks like it's my diet that I should be scrutinising right now.

I was 67kg and 183cm when i started, wat i did was to eat more and take whey and i hit 88kg for eatting too much without having any mass gainer, well "Eat alot" is a relative term.

It all depends on how bad u want it.

GNC people didn't dare come near to interfere when I was explaining supplementation to mikehuan at their outlet. I do my research and combined with my medical knowledge, I know my shit. Not as well as the prominent ones like Alan Aragorn or Lyle or Silverhydra but it gets the job done.

Plain black pure espresso 3-4 teaspoons. Period. I'm teaching you to save money and telling you most supplements are overrated.

It worked for me. Did you eat your normal meals? Bare in mind that serious mass it self is not a real meal, it's just a supplement. So if you eat lets say 3 meals per day. With serious mass you got to eat 3 meals + (1 time of serious mass) between one of the meals then you will have a total of 4 meals per day. Just an example.

I usually take it after lunch and 2 hours b4 workout. Lets say 3pm in the afternoon. 56kg -almost 70kg now within 4 months+ of serious mass. Stopping after I finish my last bag, after this aiming to reduce body fat to below 10% ><
