is the 4% a sure thing? i thot some fd promotion can get close to 4%, n epf shd get higher return as well.

btw, does anyone know if i do a withdrawal in jan 2020, is there any impact on dividend up to 2019?

An option for you is OCBC 360 4.1%.

When did you deposit, and when will you plan to withdraw? SSPN-i interest calculation is not a daily calculation.

8k can get what kind of FD promotion .. and EPF tax relief only at 4k, will probably put it in towards end of the year when I do my year end closing..

The dividend it's 4% a year from 2016 to 2018.. before that I'm not too sure..

No impact if you withdraw in Jan 2020

The cut-off date for interest calculation is the 5th of every month.

As long as the deposit date is before 6th, i.e., 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th - counted one month interest.

Any deposit date after 5th, i.e., 6th until the end of the month - counted zero interest for that month.
