erm....

whats the best eheim to get for the storm waterblock + chipset waterblock ??

or head pressure ??
*
eheim 1260 is a good pump for the storm but mind u it aint cheap. its got 3.7m hmax. for storm's recommended 3m hmax and above to fully bring out its potential.

yo MetalZone...maybe you can source some lower cost high hmax pump like the Cyber Aqua CA4700 the one in amok's pump shoot-out. this pump have a 3m hmax and should be suitable for Storm i guess.

Eheim 1250 would be my next choice. Now reallocation my funds to get it. Anybody know Eheim's pump distributor ?
*
U can get the Eheim 1250 from the pet shop in Ikano. They also haf the 1046 n 1048 for those on a lower budget n require less performance.

BTW Uzairi, here's the mounting plate u asked me to make for ure old Aleck water block. I just completed it. I've given it a nice frosted edge too. U just need to put a LED next to the edge n voila! The whole edge is gonna glow. Howzabout that for sum bling bling on an old waterblock? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif I also gaf it a lil polishing to make the base shine again.

Here's sum pix for u.

i think 5mm should be enough i guess. thinner acrylic might be susceptible to cracks at the barb holes area due to the pressure of the tubing.

btw, what do u mean by "stripped nirox p2800"? dont tell me you actually hacked off the entire cover except the impeller part, leaving the bare epoxy block.

Back cover gone, the side on the other hand just a bit gone. The under part the where shah81 make some hole to make negative airflow. brows.gif
