If I'm not mistaken, you STILL need the Xbox360 console.
A PC with Windows Vista alone doesn't play Xbox360 games

Vista cannot play XboX360 games, but an XboX360 games can be converted to Vista compatible in less than 2 weeks if the developers want as both share the same fundamental layout

and just download a codec pack. Why ppl are still asking if an OS can play a particular Video file when it's up to the Codec Pack, and not the OS? Real Alternative is recomended

yo dattebayo....

sorry to tell u that....

X360 games are indeed playable using Windows Vista Ultimate version...

my campus had the launch of this windows vista and we were shown demo of X360 game running on a big plasma TV in Windows Vista Ultimate version.........

so wat's that "in ur dream" again?
*
that demo is a video file? have you tried playing it?

I m sure that Bill Gates wont be that stupid to drag himself into another antitrust by sony right ? (if a Vista PC can play X360 games on it)

why an antitrust? it's not like Sony has anything to do with XboX360? It's like you can play DVD on both DVD player and PC.

actually x360 games are developed with XNA, the same package use to develop new games on vista. some sort like unified code that can be used on both pc and x360. therefore basically x360 games playable on pc IF the games develop using XNA Studio.

btw, can download the software and develop your own game if u want to do so

vista doesn't play xb360 games... but it depends if the game developer creates the game on the xbox360 and pc which there is already one going on .. meaning both PC gamers and xbox360 gamers will be able to play together through a service called Live Anywhere which is coming soon later this year... with that service u can interact/play with the xbox360/pc gamer where ever u go..

conclusion: vista doesn't play xbox360 games.. u still play ur own pc games

Yes, Vista can watch RM files. But not very recommended using Vista to watch RM files because the codec isn't match to the operating system.

10 yrs ago they have included IE with the installation of win98, last 2 yrs, MS was sued bu EU due to the inclusion of WMP in winXP, forcing MS to release the Reduced WMP edition (called N edition), and now this time will they going to graciously support Xbox360 in a Vista PC?

WMP was the target of antitrust because it made ppl not using Real Player. Is there such thing from Sony for windows in the 1st place? And did Microsoft lose the antitrust? No, the court never rule they were wrong

is it thru that window vista ultimate can play XBOX360 games??
*
YES! YES!! It can even play PS3 and WII games!!

Later when Service Pack 1 is out, it'll be able to play XBOX720 and PS4 games. Really.
doh.gif

MS simply makes it easier to port games between the platforms, higher level of integration like Online games, media sharing and hardware sharing (the gamepad etc).

U can't simply put in a XBOX360 games and expect it to run on a PC natively. Why do u think MS sell XBOX360 then??? doh.gif

That is not trial 30 day. It same like XP ,waiting 30 day for you to enter the serial or activated the windows vista version that you purchase. After activate the genuine logo will appear at system properties.

I think every shop also got discount , I bought from computerzone. smile.gif

Vista Enterprise will only be available through Microsoft Software Assurance. It will not be available through retail or OEM.

I never heard of Vista Pro before, and I'm sure that it didn't exist.
