So far these would not work
Symantec (any product) from 2003 - 2006 ACDsee newer that version 5 Alcohol 120% Daemon Nero 7 (you can install, but the installation will not be finished. you need to manually make the shorcut yourself). Samurize Adaptec AspI driver installer got working again after it won't work in Beta II |

V5 works for me as well.
anyways, where the hell can I find a SAA7134 driver? My TV card is useless without it |

Don't use installer, instead, locate it through Device Manager. That's what I do for mine. Some installer can install some programs that can result in crashes, so I usually let Vista handle the driver installation for me

Bios problem I think. I got the same thing the last time I installed XP on my fren's PC and I reset the Bios to get it working again

It might be your installationis corrupted before finishing. try fresh reinstalling. I doubt it has anything to do with your HDD, as mine is also a SATA HDD and it works fine

Basically, th GPU si not that important. it's just ofr the Aero theme. Vista still can be used without it

@ Gengstapo - It's now called Programs and features
@ Lighter - the same thing ppl said when XP was out. And IMHO, Vista is better than XP as the learning curve is very shallow compared to 98/ME --> XP @ Da_Shiang - It can be used, just remember to right click --> compatibility --> XP Service pack 2. If not it will not install VSFilter |

It need to read the DVD to finalise installation, even if you did install it from inside XP. thus you need the DVD
