QUOTE(k.incognito @ Feb 14 2007, 02:22 PM) Yea i get that too. Am on 7900GS. Its bcuz of nvidias driver. Dont download the 5 Jan 07 whql drivers, but instead get the 31 jan 07 beta drivers. It works better on most games, but still buggy tho. so even the newer driver still cant fix that problem?.... so wat game u try so far? that day i try the nfs carbon but cant even start the game... so quite game already..... |

For NFS carbon, go into the game installation folder, find the folder MOVIES and rename it. The game crashes as it makes a TEMP file for the Movies CG to load, but as Vista uses different dir than XP, it cannot find the TEMP folder

QUOTE(calvin @ Feb 15 2007, 01:09 AM) guess theres too many useless apps came with the system.. i'd suggest u to do a clean installation if its possible.. How about opening an audio file, how long it will take?I have another Toshiba with core duo processor, windows XP, it actually opens instantly. |
