QUOTE(calvin @ Feb 15 2007, 01:09 AM) guess theres too many useless apps came with the system.. i'd suggest u to do a clean installation if its possible.. i'm using a 6400 as well and my boot time is around 5secs from the login screen to finish load How about opening an audio file, how long it will take? I have another Toshiba with core duo processor, windows XP, it actually opens instantly.

QUOTE(calvin @ Feb 15 2007, 12:23 PM) fx_53_xt: yea i get that problem quite frequently already... its the codec thats giving out the problem it seems..happens to other media files as well... vt928: audio file opens immediately unlike video files That is what I am really unhappy about, not too sure is that vista's prob or wmp's prob...Dell said a lot of customers complained about that oso.
