Normally what tiles you all choose for those under concrete table? Those which is "hidden"...

Another option is to lay that part last if you are doing major renovation, using balance tiles. My tiler did that for me and it looks surprisingly good.

After looking at many brand and model, I don't think White horse is expensive. They are in mid range. Wait till you see Niro, Feruni, and there another brand can't remember is more expensive than Feruni.

The contractor quote me RM12 psf for MML tiles including material and workmanship. Is this reasonable?

As for the concrete top table RM180 pfr including the tiles at the bottom. Seems to be pricey thought. What is the current market price right now?

Reasonable i guess. But why need waterproofing. Isnt that for toilet only? Another thing, for the skirting, get another color like white. It looks so much better. Nt reli nice if same color as floor.

Ops, my mistake. Also this is using 800 mm tiles, meaning 2 and half feet tiles. Are you sure you want to lay such large tiles? Larger tiles charge differently.

Hi,

Any picture that you cah share with us on the different color skirting ? I am interested to see a picture of this.

Also, I was quoted same price for workmanship to lay 600mmx 600mm or 800mm x 800mm tiles for my living area ? What do you guy think about this ? Which is better ? Any pro or con to use which sizes of tiles ?

Thanks

How is the tiling work calc? If there is windows, will the area minus from the tiling area?

For eg, 20 x 8 with 4 x 6 windows.

Tiling work = (160 - 24) x labour cost?

My current porch is like this:

half concrete flooring : 22x12 feet
half grass/weed: 21x13 feet (after minus drain)

I was qouted rm8xxx for the following:

- "dismantle" current concrete flooring and rebuild base, then tiling
- built a 14 x 13 feet base over the grass, then tiling

Note:
- Renovator refuse to have me source own tiles, insist his price will definitely be cheaper than I ever will get anywhere
- He also refused to reveal his itemised tasks and price.
- I havent chosen the tile type yet but he said it will be around rm7.xx per piece (not sure its 1 or 2 square feet each)

Is the price of rm8xxx reasonable?

I've done my house perfectly with Niro tiles. The sales person named Anthony from PJ branch are very helpful and he can give you great ideas on how to lay or design your bathrooms. Glad to have chosen Niro. Loving it...
