yeap cpu...it'd be a problem if gpu goes such high

83C is a bit high, I thought the GPU would reach that high. Thankfully 4743ZG is much cooler, even under Crysis and overclocked GPU, temperature don't reach 70C for CPU and 65C for GPU

anyone here have 4750G? prolly will be getting a unit tmr.

basically exact same spec as 5750G except port placement, screen size, size and weight.

i noticed that recent acer laptop have good built quality since timelineX series. and god, it's not glossy like most other manufacturers...

No, the 4750G only using GT520M...

I'm considering all 3 options, but most probably swap or change motherboard. Even though not really satisfied fully like sometimes crash when playing games maybe swapping or changing motherboard can help it. U mean after 1-2 weeks only can do the motherboard replacement?

yes.they told me that the replacement parts and models will arrive in 1-2 weeks.
Mobo change will takes 1 day while laptop swap will takes 3-4 working days depending upon the inspection outcome.
You can register with acer so that they will call you and they will ask about what option will you choose.

No, 4750G in SG has exactly same CPU/GPU as 5750G in MY. Core i7 2630QM and GT540M. And I reserved one for RM2k....

Singtel give away free 4750G for broadband contract package and few selling their units.

i already send in my laptop to acer highpoint at lowyat plaza ytd..
n i choose to get a new 1..
they will gv laptop that same specs or same price with our 5750g..
n the process will take 2 weeks time..
the laptop choices they will tell us about 2 weeks time after inspection..

do update us after u get ur new laptop...means u cant choose on ur choice?

just googled abt the lappie and tempted to get one since it has really nice specs. but it seems the lappie still hav many problems, no?

Haiz, for the first batch, quite frustrated la, because the parts and stock are not ready and need to wait.... which mean, GOT solution, but did not implement yet.

If you want buy 5750g, still ok one, go for the blue color, because that is 2nd batch. With Gforce 540m 2gb, if not mistaken. the old batch is 1gb only.

Really hope to hear from their call asap!

yea 1st batch quite problematic...few of us blue screen...
some cant play some game due to optimus (i guess 2nd batch same oso)

but nevertheless, i love my lappy now, only the fact the screen cant play in 3d dissapoint me

problem is i cant live w/o gaming.

not all of us kena like tat...just me and another one or two users i guess...

i ask them before they say it will takes 3-4days after the parts has arrived.
atm the parts arrival has been delayed slightly.
they say the parts and replacement models should be in in 1-2 weeks.
