I submit my laptop into high point service center at 4th floor of lowyat...
called, they said no part arrive, no stock ready for swap yet

if either two arrive, will contact me..

Haiz, for the first batch, quite frustrated la, because the parts and stock are not ready and need to wait.... which mean, GOT solution, but did not implement yet.

If you want buy 5750g, still ok one, go for the blue color, because that is 2nd batch. With Gforce 540m 2gb, if not mistaken. the old batch is 1gb only.

Really hope to hear from their call asap!

Ya, as lakost said, they contacted me as well. I chose swap product and will be inform and update by them if the procedure is done.

I will swap with the 2nd batch of 5750G which is blue color that one...
instead of 1 gb of Gforce card, 2nd batch provide 2 gb.

Haiz, hope the swap won't take one week. I need it for my thesis as well. Ish!

yesterday submit my Boxes, all wire stuff and laptop to high point, might need to wait 2 days to swap into 2nd batch of 5750g. CUDA 2GB!

8.3.2011 submited my laptop... without box bag wire.
after keep following, decide to swap product, high point instruct to send back all bag wire boxes.

2 days, 2days, 2 days... keep saying after 2 days....
until now... just follow up them by calling.
They said because of the center Sunday no working...
so need to wait more 3 days.

today already 28.3.2011
Re-adjustment, my laptop left me one month.

hope no more 3 days.. 3 days 3 days.. then sunday no work, 4 days again.

advice also swap product to 2nd batch of 5750g la... the spec gooder compare to 1st batch.

If you want to retain your data, then another story la..

If i want to upgrade to 8gb, which RAM should i chose?
1333mhz
or
1066mhz?

I doubt their 5750g intel sandy bridge crisis management procedure.

All different highpoint employees say the same things.
"Your laptop is under going procedure, perhaps it will took 2 to 3 days."

Then I sent email to acer care.
Another people say, my laptop sending to plaza lowyat... maybe evening or tomorrow can get it...

Hope the email one is the truly true true truth case.

but, i think my seal broken already... because i wanted to upgrade my RAM from 4gb to 8gb...

But, sadly only got 2 slot, occupied also...
