Yes. But unused ram is a wasted ram. It'd make no difference if ram is bumped to 4gb if a lot of them goes unused.

You can have a beautiful functional ubuntu linux desktop for under 512ram. My netbook takes 57MB ram only. If android needs more, it speaks inefficiency (like windows). IMO, the 1gb ram is needed to play high end 3d games. One day if I decide I wanted to play 3d games, it'd be a minimum of 1gb ram with a core2duo level of performance - can use hdmi cable to play on tv. Right now, this phone suffices for me. Different people will have different needs.

u mean dxjpb modem rite? coz dxjpe rom still using dxjpb modem though. yup, the idle is slightly better compared to xxjpy modem.. maybe because it was meant for our region.

I want to flash my radio ROM. So happened that the location I reside, Damansara and Puchong, both has pretty bad HSDPA connection in building/house. If I download something huge, the data connection would drop often. Any radio ROM that you guys noticed having a more sturdy mobile connection?

haha. forgot bout it. never tested zsjpe modem for battery life. takes quite sometime due to frequent flashing. i normally tested it for gps and call reception.

haha tested for 2 days. 3 hours 1% drop with wifi on

nope. the normal unmodified modem. that's the percentage drop on idle tho

Hi, I'm having a problem with video call. My video call always blank (black) even either with "show me" or "hide me" or switch camera. I can see opposite ppl i calling, but he cant see me, with only blank I had tried many friends but always blank on my phone only. Also blank in Tango video calling.

Anyone know the solution?

I'm using stock xwjs3 since last month. But not sure when it started to have this problem. Which apk is relevant to video calling?

How do u make that video call? with data (eg 3g) or using wifi? I do know that some apps for video calling such as skype and ym doesn't work with our sgs. I've made few video call before (with data) and the recipient can see me. That was with stock dxjpe rom. Not sure if its rom related or not. Maybe others can help to guide u

have you try to use the camera app to check your front camera is working fine?

try to use direct calling from the phone dialer instead of using 3rd party apps.
