QUOTE(janov @ Feb 16 2011, 04:23 PM) hi fellow sgs users, havent posted in a long time but i still follow this thread, moving quite slow recently maybe it will pick up again after ginger bread is released. anyway, i've been using stock video player to play most of my video files but it seem to have problems with flv files. out of 10 files only 1 could be played the rest is "unsupported". i've also previously had problems with some avi files, i copied a whole bunch of files into the phone hoping to watch them during my vacation and all of them cant be read. so frustrating. for those avi files, to make it readable i have to convert them to wmv which takes like forever just for one file to be converted. anyone faced this problem before. any recommendation for a good video player from the market? Your videos are in 1080p? You may want to try rockplayer from the market

Latest version from the market. Just install and it will direct you to download the maps. It's a 1 week trial only. Yeap, Aura sygic is compatible with sgs. A buddy of mine found moboplayer and recommended it to me, seems that the lead developer from the rockplayer team left the team and developed moboplayer on his/her own. I noticed RMVB playback to be smoother with moboplayer than rockplayer. I bought my batt from aliexpress.com - it was a 1800mAh batt for the SGS, free shipping, cost me USD9.99 and arrived in 14 days. My colleague has just ordered her 3000mAh batt for her SGS from batterybay.net, I think, for USD19.79 with free shipping also.

QUOTE(nasrulbond @ Feb 16 2011, 09:35 AM) so far how's the performance? is it smooth like darky also? wahh the MIUI rom is so much colourful. cant wait cant wait! very snappy and smooth. it's faster than every other roms I really like it but my major concern right now is int sdcard and bluetooth not working. been using for a few hours but back to doc's since int sdcard is vital to me and all gameloft games can't be played.

Got a question, Currently I on 2.21 XXJPY firmware with speedmode-k12t. All recommended tweak and lagfix is on. I want to upgrade to K13b-bigmen(CWM) My question is, 1) Do I need to disable tweak and lagfix? 2) How to upgrade via CWM? Place the zip file into SD and boot into CWM and update? thanks and appreciate the help!

Got a quick one to ask, does the latest Speedmod kernel includes Voodoo's sound fix? If not, can I flash Speedmod, enable tweaks and lagfix to ext4, then flash with Supercurio's Voodoo kernel? Will the tweak settings be retained and I can get my sound fix? Was recording lion dance in my office today, well, the result you all would have expected. The sound was badly broken due to the over gain by the default settings of the phone.
