hi fellow sgs users, havent posted in a long time but i still follow this thread, moving quite slow recently maybe it will pick up again after ginger bread is released.
anyway, i've been using stock video player to play most of my video files but it seem to have problems with flv files. out of 10 files only 1 could be played the rest is "unsupported".
i've also previously had problems with some avi files, i copied a whole bunch of files into the phone hoping to watch them during my vacation and all of them cant be read. so frustrating. for those avi files, to make it readable i have to convert them to wmv which takes like forever just for one file to be converted. anyone faced this problem before.
any recommendation for a good video player from the market?

QUOTE(Fornaxlife @ Feb 16 2011, 04:38 PM) Your videos are in 1080p? You may want to try rockplayer from the market no la, not even 720p, its low resolution video. will give mobo a try. but the VLC in the market can it be used as a video player? anyone tried before?

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Feb 16 2011, 05:24 PM) I am finding moboplayer to be a better video player than rockplayer.. http://moboplayer.com/moboplayer_en.htmlThanks Deva macha, using Mobo i can now view the flv files i copied into my phone. will try the avi which i couldnt view previously when i get back home. Btw, can you let me know the address of the website that you bought the sgs battery from? lazy to search back, cant even recall which version that we talked about it. wanna buy a spare battery soon

QUOTE(gzero @ Feb 18 2011, 10:24 AM) Whoever want to buy my old SGS when SGS2 come out, feel free to reserve with me in advance My current SGS should be about 1 year old, so no more warranty, looks almost perfect 9.9/10. Will give personal warranty though, looking to sell at about 1.4k PM me for more details la, got freebies also wahlau, ur very advanced!! SGS might not worth that much when the SGS2 finally arrives. besides, i have my doubts about the battery life of the SGS2 and the upgrades dont seem so significant. i just hope Gingerbread will be available soon for SGS.

QUOTE(jujx @ Feb 24 2011, 04:17 PM) Kies... no wonder. LOL, do you have a Kies alert on this thread or wat??!! but i agree, i dont use that piece of crap too. samsung should really create a software for only Android phones not share it with its Bada OS. but i heard the latest Kies is slightly more pleasant to use, couldnt be bothered to try it though

Fast and snappy. i second that, actually i was recommending gmhafiz since few versions ago!! thanks for becoming our new TS, gmhafiz.
