QUOTE(diablo69 @ Feb 14 2011, 02:29 PM) hi guys... need ur advice... Wait till there's news about availability of sgs 2 till next month. There's rumor that it will be available this month for europe and asia. No idea if sgs2 will use gorilla glass as well but for the rest of the specs, sgs2 beats the first iteration.currently using wildfire... considering upgrading to SGS next month... one of the main reason is due to the corning 4" glass and 1GHz proc... corning glass is a plus for me since im in the cement industry... feels that the better proc speed would be good... currently having push mail on my wildfire... n also i play quite alot of game and web surfing.... the main question is should i upgrade now or wait for sgs2 to arrive to our shore's... My advice, wait for sgs2. |

I just installed papago X5. The GPS lock time is ok. About 15s. But the accuracy is way too off. Do you guys think it is due to software problem?

From my experience this is papago problem. Accuracy is way better in Aura GPS and googlemap.Btw, my papago gps accuracy is not "way too off" like in your case. Maybe you want to finetune your accuracy in LBS mode. |

Actually... you're using all the numbers on the keypad. Start with 3 and end with 0 in circular counter clockwise. This post has been edited by Bugeca: Feb 14 2011, 05:59 PM |

QUOTE(Crossover @ Feb 14 2011, 06:00 PM) That work! Suggest TS to include this onto the 2nd post. Nothing much can do on the settings. However, some users do experience better GPS. Your mileage maybe vary. Only the second and third settings. After which, what shall i do to fine tune the gps? set the accuracy? The best mod is still the antenna modification but I've not done it yet coz my GPS accuracy is spot on and start time is less than 2 minutes at most. This article may help you a bit. QUOTE(Jason @ Feb 14 2011, 06:39 PM) no problem man. you should share your review of it. looks nice in champagne gold..but still yellow is my love Yup made the right choice choosing champagne gold, if not later all gunmental then sien lor hahahaYellow is still the best color, sharp, stands out the most in crowds... The matte finish of the casing is nice but not what i really expected, expecting a rougher matte finish and mayb a bit of a metal feel something like the Desire HD if u know what i mean. THe phone fits nicely into the case but have to apply a few rubber strips provided to prevent the casing from scratching the chrome bezel, the back is nicely shielded and they have also provided three camera lens protector which i've looked all over for XD Real solid case which adds a bit of thickness to the phone, but in a good way, better grip and looks bolder if u choose a very very sharp color (I challenge anybody to take up the vivid series fantasia color XD) Added on February 14, 2011, 7:11 pm QUOTE(silentser @ Feb 14 2011, 07:05 PM) Thats what i get for driving all the way from UTAR setapak to MV in between classes XDand also i get lots of nice jams from bangsar, and some on jalan duta too dont worry, jason posted ur case this afternoon b4 meeting me so u should receive urs 2molo This post has been edited by CrossX: Feb 14 2011, 07:21 PM |

PAPAGO will never go below 15m ... I NEVER SEE that happen b4.. Some people here seems to say papago is accurate for them ... i guess "15m" satisfy them... i cant complain about that.. Btw.... @decypher Yes, you freaking need a DATA PLAN ... TRUST ME .... Or else you would end up baling ur phone @ wall then sepak sepak .... Getting a lock without data plan is realy a B*tch .... It is to the point that you rather not have a GPS on ur SGS... Believe me.. it is THAT BAD.... This post has been edited by holypredator: Feb 14 2011, 07:49 PM |

omg. I installed Papago M7.1 already, but when I tried to open, it only shows a window with some chinese words. I think it means I don't have Papago/Maps installed in the SD card?
I already copied NaviSEA into the SD card via Mass Storage... EDIT: I read somewhere X5 is english but M7.1 is for Android in Chinese? I'll just try out X5. This post has been edited by decypher: Feb 14 2011, 09:29 PM |
