QUOTE(vicng @ Mar 3 2011, 12:28 AM) My SGT since yesterday also got problem, yesterday morning it auto shut down & I can't switch on it for nearly 1 hour. Then I found now the battery drain out very fast. It will suddenly drop from 30% to <15%. Today when I charged it, it charged from 61% - 68% after almost 1 hour charging, after I unplugged & plugged the charger, it suddenly shown battery was charging up to 99%. Is this due to software problem or hardware problem? I think it need to send back to Samsung service centre for checking. An owner here in our forum ( check back old thread ) had reported this problem ; he sent in and got the battery replaced as it was defective. Apparently this is a problem with some units as similarly reported in other forums too. So don't wait - get it replaced Added on March 3, 2011, 3:05 amQUOTE(Lennox @ Mar 3 2011, 12:03 AM) hey guys, can use more than 1 launcher in tab? No only one launcher at any one time. You can install as many launchers as you want. Use Home Switcher , a free app - easier to use to select launcher you need at any time This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 3 2011, 03:05 AM

You actually have another option to choice if you want convert to ext4, use Overcome Kernel 1.0. You can download from instruction guide provided by corodius, the link was contain "Odin3 v.1.7.exe" "Overcome_Kernel_v1.0". http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11713685

Thanks

But basing on my experience is not wise to do so as some older kernel files are not fully deleted could cayse some issues This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 3 2011, 08:56 AM

Sorry sounds noob cos didn't really know how these stuff works although had flashed a few devices already..

QUOTE(arbelnox @ Mar 3 2011, 09:47 AM) and no RAM mentioned Steve Jobs " malu" to say it . At just 256 MB - it is horribly low. when I tested the multitask features with the new ioS4.2 - it does not work too well either - works only with apps that support it. I find that still need to JB it to have better multitasking but than with such a low memory - you still need to close some apps. I was expecting at least a 512 MB ram for the ipad2 - some pundits predicted 1 GB - my were these guys disappointed with such high unrealistic hopes Anyway ipad2 good for new users to start off with if they want an ipad. Forget about the original ipad. Msian prices, lastnite all present ipad models price cuts across at RM 400 less. OUch !!! real pain for those who just bought This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 3 2011, 10:33 AM

Sorry sounds noob cos didn't really know how these stuff works although had flashed a few devices already.. I have been testing on this ; just for fun. My findings ( not necessary true as I am just as noob as others ) : I find the best way to completely have a fresh new stable kernel is to reflash back to RFS fs , factory reset, than only install new ext4 based kernel This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 3 2011, 10:39 AM

Easiest test : Samsung says continuos video - 7 hours. So just play a movie 1.5 to 2 hours and see your battery usage. A simple though is a rough guide - gives one a pretty good assessment
