In mid January, rumors is that Digi is not promoting the Galaxy Tab anymore. Infact I have signed up for notification since mid Dec until now - never receive any call until today.

Guys - if you wish can try to change your bootup image. I have tested and works on my Tab. refer to this link - just follow the instructions - straightforward and simple. There are 3 ways. Easiest use root explorer

btw, samsung announce 8.9 inch new tablet next month .... actually consider buy galaxy tab before, but the screen size too small for me.
now ipad 2 announce 2th March, + samsung galaxy tab 10.1 or lg optimus pad ..... which one which one ???

Other than these two excellent features - I'd consider tab 10.1 over the LG purely cos I believe will have more support in tweaks/roms etc. Look at the official thread of TAB 10.1 at http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1761603 . In post # 2 I have summarized several links comparing the Tab 10.1 with other tablets

Stop put hope on it, change others telco plan, i wait for Digi for 3 months last time, still no stock. i change to ask celcom, 3 days got it

updated to overcome rom v1.1.3 + 1.4ghz richardtrip oc kernel v15.. undervolted and battery seems to be ok.. 35deg celcius while browsing.. 40 while charging.. battery life seems to be ok..

Just curious, will there be a way to change the Samsung Galaxy Tablet battery? Just curious... if we are to keep the tab for years to come like my Samsung i780. I have 3 batteries for my i780 and it is still going strong after 2 years +.

ipad very nice just no flash. actually galaxy tab 10.1 is my next target but still no roughly release date. ipad 2 if available at US / other market, sure got shop bring in but the price must be very high !!!!

Added on February 23, 2011, 8:19 pmYES. You need to unsign bootloader first using Chainfire patch first, Just download the app , launch it - it will check your firmware and just select patch it - very fast few seconds will do it

Dunno why ,i can seems to complete downloading the 6.8 MB zip file for EXT4.
It always stop half way during downloading...dunno why??

For data usage, there is 3G watchdog, but how about voice call? Got similar software to monitor how much minutes i call and reset every month? Don't want my phone bill goes sky rocket =p

Successfully converted to ext4 wit modoco rom. The improvement is much better than I hoped ofr especially when playing gun bros.
