Hi Benny,nice effort!
Using iPad now but yr review makes me itching for a Tab. I wonder if I can use my iPhone 3GS sim card on tab? If I need another unlimited line,can u gv recommendation ..maxis/celcom/YES/DIGI?? |

Hi Benny/other guru!!
Got my Tab oredi!n now taking CNY to play wit it! Need some advice fr guru!! 1. EASIEST METHOD : Using z4root - Download z4root and install from forum XDA - Enable USB debugging on the Tab : Press Menu button then select Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB debugging - Launch z4root and press the “Root” button Questions: 1.Do i download z4root from our Tab?or to PC I tried download to tab but can`t open file as its zip!or any apps that i can use to unzip? Also upgraded my firmware to latest PDA:JM4/PHONE:JM2/CSC:JM1(XME)..CAN I ROOT THIS?? Thanks in advance |

Hi Benny,
I tried as per recommendation to change file system to EXT4 but face some issues in below stages.. * Download the EXT4 TAR file from HERE..Done n OK!! * Launch Odin 1.7 ,Tab connected,COM identified-OK! in PDA select the TAR file ( do not select the ‘repartition’ option)...do i click START here on Odin?but i dun see any changes in the status bar!..did i miss anything here?? Not able to move to below stages! * Odin completed, the TAB reset and freeze on TAB logo – is a normal condition . I switch it off ( hold down power button for 5 secs ) * Go to Recovery Mode ( Press down VolumeUp button and switch on TAB ) * TAB reset and perform the EXT4 conversion ; you can see all the conversion progress on screen * Once completed, the TAB Reboot. Appreciate yr advice!! |

Dunno why ,i can seems to complete downloading the 6.8 MB zip file for EXT4.
It always stop half way during downloading...dunno why?? No answer.. wonder if any bro that is successful flashing,can help me? really need to hold my hand:( better if can help me to flash:)while i learn!!...banging into the wall to many XX thanks |
