if you don't bother about your HDD capacity. shoot in RAW + JPEG.
Give JPEG for those who in need.
if you bother about editing use the RAW, else JPEG would be fine.
No need to resize la bro. just buy 2Tb HDD. it will please you in the long run.

I am not sure about SD card thread. I myself using normal 4gb Class IV SD card.
yeah I know limitation in storage therefore I only store my image in RAW only.

Must it be a prime lens? What about a good zoom lens that covers 24mm focal length?

Good zoom that covers 24mm below RM5k -> 1635 f/4 VR.

If got more budget then can go for the best 1424 f/2.8 at about 6k.. don't really recall the prices haha~

17-35 f/2.8 also covers 24mm. Now also below RM5k

That 1424 is pretty much the best among the UWA from Nikkor Just grab it man.

That lens cannot attach any filter ya, so have to be very careful when using it
If ya don't need so wide, can consider 17-35 f/2.8D or 16-35 f/4G VR instead. This 2 can put filters in front plus giving great focal length for everyday use.

Sigma has one..24mm f/1.8 DG Macro, price around RM1400 on Amazon..performance wise not sure

I am a DSLR beginner with D3000. I bought this D3K almost a year ago but only used for certain occassion as feel like "sayang mau pakai" plus shame to bring out D3K while others using more advance SLR.

Recently, I bought 18-105 lens from other forumer here to try out for travelling as 1 of my friend said it will covered all area up to 105mm. Yup i am very satisfied with the lens but just found out, got shadow when the internal flash pop up...at 1st, i wondering where is the shadow come from...lorr it is the lens....hahahhaha

Now I planned to get new item - to get the SB600 or to get AFS 35mm 1.8. Which one i suppose to get 1st?Any advice from any sifus here? Sorry if this question might asked here earlier.

Well, the SB600 would compliment well with your 18105 to be honest. Get the flash gun first.

Same situation, the shadows are very annoying when hood is attached, try capturing with pop-up flash without its hood.

I would suggest you to go for SB-700 instead. If you got extra budget, SB-900 then.

And why must you feel shame with D3k... Previously, I was using D70 with 1.8" LCD and 6MP, surrounded by D5k, D700, 60D, 5DM2, do I feel shame? Not at all! DSLR rules!

dun feel shame lah...D3x is nothing if u dont know how to use...with knowledge and skill u can make ur picture precious even used cap ayam camera...
