I have flash gun and I already have my superb portrait lens
and don't think about upgrade yet. body upgrade? maybe yes.
I do find I have a problem in holding my camera vertically.
usually I couldn't hold it symmetrically vertically therefore I wish battery grip could help me on that.

grip help you on portrait shooting. but of course to make things a little better on portrait shooting you need to have the gun bro.

I will keep my 35 when I manage to grab my 50mm sigma. maybe somewhere in may.
35mm is good for walk-around lens. where 50mm is for portrait on DX.

IDK why I love the look of 50mm 1.8
I think even tough later I have 50mm 1.4 sigma or 50mm 1.2 Nikkor (If later they publish) I still want to get that legendary 50mm 1.8 Nikkor.

Sadly no AF motor on my body.

I only have 1.8 lens and I am not always shooting with 1.8 aperture

I know you have a good sense of lens picking therefore you even said 35mm 1.8 is a trash

the problem is it is not an AF-S lens. so I can't enjoy the AF on my body.
or upgrading body to d90 is a good idea? Man. I am stuck!

I found myself always playing with the zoom and unable to stick with one particular range if I use zoom lens. therefore when I bring my 1855 out I am playing with the zoom instead of stick with one range and threat it like prime lens. a bad habit of mine.
Next time I must try not to even touch the zooming barrel. Thanks anyway

I really want to upgrade to D90 but I find it is more like degrade not upgrade unless I go for d7000.
and yeah D7000 is a way out of my budget.
80-200 is almost double of sigma 70-200 price.
