QUOTE(BaRT @ Jan 23 2011, 02:15 AM) Good day! Currently im searching new d3100 + kit for my younger sister & sb-700 for myself. The best price I found: D3100+kit with free gift = RM 1990 SB700 = RM 1070 so far any other places can offer better price? Highly appreciate your input. TQ About 1950 in Melaka, bag + memory card as gift.

QUOTE(bbuser91 @ Jan 23 2011, 10:16 AM) That is cheap ! lucky i just ask the price but bought the 52mm at Melaka offer this price? B+W XS-PRO and Hoya HD which one better? or i cannot compare like that? I have both, I prefer the HD though cause easier to clean. Optics wise I see no differences for me.

SB700 is like a mini SB900, more or less everything the SB900 offers just smaller and less powerful. Not to mention no PC jack. But I think most people here won't use that anyways.

QUOTE(BenSow @ Jan 23 2011, 06:08 PM) its gonna be discontinued if not mistaken.. replaced by SB900 Added on January 23, 2011, 6:09 pmdepends on the design haha... SB700 is a new model. SB900 is Nikon's flagship speedlight at the moment. SB900 and SB700 are both different range.

No, I just save the processing using the side scalar .xmp file then I open it up through bridge.

QUOTE(General_Nic @ Jan 25 2011, 09:32 PM) G is slower than Sigma, thats for sure d current best Nikkor 50mm is AIS f/1.2 manual focus Abstract photography? more durable than compact PnS i dare say cleaning kit normally those cheapo 1, worth around rm10 oni, haha n y wan 'upgrade' to MicroSD? I used the 50mm f/1.2 before... not my type of lens definitely. Nowadays I like using cold tone ,

QUOTE(scotty @ Jan 25 2011, 09:54 PM) since we are at this topic. any diff between the two lenses? 24-70 and 28-70? If you're talking about Nikkor lens, the 2470 is the newer lens. Comes with speedy AF-S and also the nanocoat. The 28-70 on the other hand is an old lens, screw driven instead. Optics wise... I don't know, only have experience with the 2470 nanocoat.
