What's the difference between Ori and AP set? (other than the warranty). I see the price difference is huge.

HI all long time no see

Just updated to 2.33 blabla... Have researched about downgrading before, but too lazy to create goldcards.

One quick question. CM7 > Stock Gingerbread?

^ if by stock gingerbread you mean the stock 2.3 ROM from HTC with Sense, then it depends on whether you prefer Sense or not.

If by stock you mean vanilla gingerbread (aka the stock G2 build), then, it's still a yes. CM7 is built from AOSP with a lot of added features.

A lot of questions cannot be answered fully until you tried it yourself.

Ok, let's revive this thread a bit since HTC just rolled out 2.3.3 Gingerbread.

Everything seems a lot snappier than before, however, I noticed that the radio signal seems to hover around 1 or 2 bars when it used to be around 4 (Max) or 3 usually.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't use any gingerbread official update rom yet so I can't review. (Too lazy to switch rom)

Anyway have anyone tired the 3G & EDGE speed hack? It does give significant increase in my 3G speed (Consistent 900kb-1200kb)

But I have huge battery drain (maybe can last about 3-4 hours of using 3G)

Its pretty demanding on the battery but I can stream Dailymotion, Youtube (HQ) and many other streaming site with just the first (10-12 seconds buffer)

Anyone else tried this before? http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-2-g...rease-hack.html

You can check in the garage section for dealers that sells otterbox (:

It is nice it fits in and everything. Fall down also i don't need to worry (+ our phone is equipped with gorilla glass too)

The only down side is our phone size are quite large (because of the qwerty keyboard) + the Otterbox, its quite erm big? hehe.

So from time to time I will take out the cover. biggrin.gif

you just have to scratch the back with some sharp object and slowly remove the so call *design*. it will look perfectly new. Be careful not to scratch it.

What you did previously to unlock?

AFAIK, you need to root to choose any other physical button to unlock. Stock firmware only allows power button to unlock.
