For the battery issue, download Juice Defender and configure it to allow certain apps to run in the background like WhatsApp, eBuddy, etc etc. And allow Auto-sync, which allows all Google APIs to sync.

My phone used to only last around 14 hours ('cause I like to have my background data on to sync emails and messages). Now it can last 2 days if I don't purposely drain my battery (playing Dungeon Defender) every night biggrin.gif

Yup, happens on mine too every now and then. It's quite weird.

Only happens on Handscent so far tho. Never happened on anything else.

Hmm, apparently HTC service center can fix loose hinges.

I had the sleeping beauty bug plague my DZ only after a couple of months in, so I couldn't get it swapped. So I sent it in to SiS distribution at Glenmarie to get it fixed. I also requested them to tighten my hinge 'cause it was getting loose and could not close properly (it shakes when closed, like a table with uneven legs).

Got it back last week and works fine, running with 1.82 ROM and no more loose hinge. smile.gif It's not as snappy as when I bought it, but it' better than when I sent it in and it now closes nicely.

Just a small FYI incase your hinge is loose and don't want to DIY repair it. biggrin.gif

Also, bump from page 4 sad.gif

@DJFoo000 5 working days, which is the max amount of time your phone should stay within the service center. If longer, they'll notify.

Yo people!

‎"There has been overwhelmingly customer feedback that people want access to open bootloaders on HTC phones. I want you to know that we've listened. Today, I'm confirming we will no longer be locking the bootloaders on our devices. Thanks for your passion, support and patience," Peter Chou, CEO of HTC

Ok, let's revive this thread a bit since HTC just rolled out 2.3.3 Gingerbread.

Everything seems a lot snappier than before, however, I noticed that the radio signal seems to hover around 1 or 2 bars when it used to be around 4 (Max) or 3 usually.

Anyone else experiencing this?

and 1 more thing, my facebook for htc sense doesn't sync although I tried many times. The last update was end of June~ what happened ??

You need to log into your HTC Friendstream with your Facebook account to sync with HTC Sense. If you log into the Facebook App, nothing will happen.

Usually, I just log in HTC Friendstream once and just leave it there. The default Facebook App is so much better biggrin.gif
