Hello All,

Do you guys use any headset for your baby? What headset can you recommend for gaming and movie purpose? I think not necessary to buy a 5.1 or 7.1 headset for NB right? Can our NB support that?
*
nope..

if u want 5.1 sound.. u need an external 5.1 usb soundcard.. if u plug in an 5.1 headset into the g53's input, ull only get 2.1 sound

iinm DoubleU has a creative 5.1 usb external soundcard + roccat kave 5.1.. imma recommend this setup...

i havent tried that yet.. but i wud love to, cuz i think itll be awesome... 3D gaming + 5.1 surround.. its like im right there !! LOOL

theres also roccat kulo... it does 'virtual' 7.1 sound.. not true surround like the KAVE... but good thing about the kulo is that u dont need an external usb soundcard..

im not sure which headset to recommend u for 2.1 sound.. maybe the others can chime in

but do note that in 5.1 surround sound, when playing competitive online FPS, u can gauge the direction/distance of ur enemy by the sound of the footsteps or gunfire thru the 5.1 surround sound.. that to me is an added advantage..

hey guys i think my hard drives are malfunctioning... how do i go about troubleshooting? any software that can scan and fix it?

I currently have problems booting into windows, using startup repair will only work like 1 out of 5 tries, and the laptop can go into periods of lag, then after awhile everything is fine. My processor load is fine so i think something wrong's with the hard drive?

i had this problem before. two possibilities : 1) bad sector in hdd which can be repaired through /chkdsk 2)bad sector that cannot be repaired. = change hdd

Don't get conned so easily. Asus Malaysia already said they don't have the glassless 3D tech yet here and don't plan to bring in any anytime soon. So be aware if you do see one, ask loads of questions.

It is clear and easy to understand. I tried to access the hadrdisk and add ram on my own. I thought it would be hard but it turn out to be quite easy smile.gif

@freedom, don't bother that's wasting your time. You can access one ram slot below your keyboard. that takes around 5 minutes if you slowly take your time.

@Volt do you have your ATK package installed?

Added on November 21, 2011, 11:12 pm@freedom, like seriously make instant noodle can still finish in 5 minutes.
