It more seem to me that he/she had a large sum of money to spend but can't decided of a gaming laptop.
He/she could've opt for a desktop with better performance.

Ok .. Anyway those with 3d. Can we concert non 3d movies into 3d and watch in on the lappie? What bout games?
*
bro i was wrong about what i said earlier about converting non 3d to 3d.. cuz ive been doing it wrong for the past few months

actually u can..

u need powerdvd11.. enable S3D.. play the movie in 3d mode in powerdvd11.. go to the 3d options in powerdvd11 and select video source as '2D' ...

then the software will convert ur 2d in 3d... and u can adjust the depth too...

the pop out is good with the depth turned all the way up

but the downside is that u get alot of ghosting on the objects compared to native 3d movies...

ive tried in on movies and football matches.. looks fantastic...

tried it on animated stuff like simpsons n family guy.. no good.. very shitttty... images keep swaying n pop out is almost non-existant

heh... u cud turn down ur shadows or ambient occlusion...

u reallly need good fps if u play competitive multiplayer.. ideally 45-55... anthing below that wud put u in a disadvantage when playing online...

hi guys i just bought the Asus G53SX SZ1208V laptop and it is absolutely gorgeous!
so far very satisfied with its performance!

one thing i wanna ask to anyone who bought the same model is what gaming mouse did you all get? i just realise the mouse they gave me is a logitech mouse rather than the asus mouse that they advertise

If user doesn't like the mouse, they can have opt for better mouse like G9x or TactX Mouse according to their liking, just like Jeffrey. Normally ppl would just use it as u actually paid for the bundled backpack and mouse along with the laptop.

Hello All,

Do you guys use any headset for your baby? What headset can you recommend for gaming and movie purpose? I think not necessary to buy a 5.1 or 7.1 headset for NB right? Can our NB support that?

Headset? I don't own headset, only earphones.
Never buy new ones. Using old ones.

My default ones are SteelSeries in-ear Siberia.

What do u mean by "Can our NB support that?"??
