I am interested G53SX too. got few questions:
(1) got Naked 3d? can see 3d screen without using the 3d glasses?
(2) The highest resolution is 1920 x 1200 or 1368 x 768? i knew 3d mode is 1368 x 768 but how about without 3d?

  sian, seem like no point to get G53sx, still need to wear 3d glasses.
it is very troublesome to wear the classes and feel dizzy if using long time.

Got my G53sx last week ( after a week of waiting )     
anyway , the sims 3 run smooooooooothly    but kinda hard to click on the stuffs when its in 3D .
tried modern warfare & it runs awesome in 3D .

Still got a lot to discover in here LOL

Already the max preset? I wonder what is the limit of G53SX, so is there any higher settings that you can use, like AA to the max, or sort of.
Hopefully the Ave FPS can still above the minimum, even with EVERYTHING MAXed OUT.

So I bit the bullet and bought the 3D version.

Quite fun though, but keeps crashing.

Downloading Win7 64 bit now, and going to try to reinstall everything.
This downloading everything has taken the entire day!
I don't have Dirt 3, or any games at the moment, so I can't test the benchmark with you.

But can you download the NVIDIA 3D Vision Technology Demo's
i) Endless City
ii) Supersonic Sled

Can you tell me if the graphics are stuttering and slow? I can't check FPS, but I think I am getting about <10 FPS on Endless City (3D mode), and on both these programs I keep getting booted back to desktop, while the music is still playing in the background. I have to start Task Manager and end the process.

This happens all the time that now I am worried if my GPU is substandard or broken.

I hope after I reinstall everything, it will give better results. Also downloading 3DMark11 now, which I will test after reinstall.
I think by tomorrow night I will have a working machine again.
