QUOTE(chemistry @ Dec 7 2010, 03:04 PM) The only strength of DA MC is that its rebate capping is based on ' per brand per card'. That means a DA MC cardmember can earn RM50 for fuel, RM50 for KFC, RM50 for Guardian, RM50 for Tesco, RM50 for Giant, etc... I must take back my words. Sorry guys. Please read the following email correspondence. Dear ______,
Thank you for your explanation. However, for better illustration, please allow me to assume a scenario. Let say I spent RM500 at KFC, RM1000 at Guardian and Tesco during a weekend, does it mean I can earn RM50 for purchase at KFC , RM 50 for purchase at Guardian and Tesco, thus making up a total of RM50+RM50+RM50 = RM150 ? This question is very important to me. Really appreciate your feedback then.
Thank you.
Regards,------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your email. Please be informed from the scenario given RM 50 (maximum rebate) will be credited to your credit card statement. Thank you for banking with us and have a pleasant day!
Regards,

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Dec 12 2010, 10:24 AM) yah, noticed that vanderbilt and rockefeller postings are similar (always mentioning enrich points) and both also rich. rockefeller has MBB WMC and vanderbilt dad has RM300K CL for CIMB Enrich card. But the funny thing is vanderbilt started a thread asking where can "cash" out from merchant in KL or something like that How come vanderbilt no ATM card? so rockefeller care to explain? opjust: your statement that you want to settle all and forget about credit card is good. As for your friend, he is not the one being imposed interest nor is he the one paying the bills. The only reason that can justify you paying off the debt later is that you now at this moment can use the money to invest and earn more than the CC interest charges but I doubt that (unless you can do BT as David mentioned and get 0% installement, but you need to have anther card on hand and it takes time to get a new one approved, if you posted before you purchase the stuffs, many here can give you ways to prolong your payment with 0% interest). Go read the thread on how long it takes to pay up your debt if you only pay the minimum. It takes years, Don't start owing people money, moreover you just married and your lifestyle will change tremendously once you have children. Just pay off the debt since you got the money and start saving all over again. tq sir... i'll settle n forget about this cc. huh!n start to save again

Just called up SCB and they mentioned that we can upgrade from normal Visa Platinum to Business Visa Platinum by faxing in a letter and no RM50 GST will be charged.
Dunno how true it the above statement made by the SCB CS Exec.

Nope, if no welcome bonus. Will definitely go for SCB if only the promotion welcome bonus is still valid. Well, nobody here can tell me either public bank or ambank credit card is better? Well, nobody here can tell me either public bank or ambank credit card is better? I realized that PBB & Ambank used to launch cashback promo which is subject to a maximum aggregated amount. Cardmembers will never know if they are entitled to bonus or not, and keep using the card. Sometimes the promo is only applicable to the first XXXX eligible cardmembers, which the ranking is unknown.
