well, my credit card gets increasement of Credit Limit two times... will it be noted in CCRIS?

I have read through CCRIS overall, i don't see they will note any credit cards which is under collateral / fixed deposit pledge.

Not sure about this. But they can definitely see your latest total credit limit for all your credit cards issued in Malaysia.
Yes. There is. I am very sure of this. Like 110% sure. I had a secured VISA credit card from HSBC before. You can search for the scanned image of my CCRIS that i posted in the credit card thread version 11.
Read the whole thing. No mention if the discount is given upon checking out on Agoda or it will be reflected in our account statement on a later date.
Because this card gives you 5% discount on all utility bills, all petrol stations, dining and groceries shopping. Any other card that gives you so much discount in one card ? No. Do take note of the RM50 capped per month though.
*
Do you mean you get the HSBC credit card by collateral too?

Thread version 11 on what page ya? icon_idea.gif

Understand the concept of transaction and posting. While the transaction has occurred, the merchant need to post the transaction (to claim) before the card holder will see the transaction in their account.
*
But the Available Credit Limit will take effect immediately after you have swipe your credit card to purchase goods.

Yes. Pledge by Time Deposit. It is written clearly in the CCRIS report i got from BNM that the particular HSBC VISA is under some sort of collateral. Meaning it is a credit card secured by fixed deposit.
Not sure. Go back to that thread and click show only my post. Easier for you to find.
CIMB Bank is still charging RM8 for delivery to East Malaysia (so much for 1Malaysia, Sabah might as well change its name back to British North Borneo) and as far as i am concerned, a few other banks also charge delivery fee to East Malaysia such as EON Bank and RHB Bank.
*
Thanks for clarifying smile.gif

Did you use ur HSBC time deposit card to apply for other bank's card? Success?

No. I had two credit cards from HSBC. The VISA one is secured by Time Deposit while the other is not. Anyway, i had canceled the VISA which is a secured credit card. I am only using the other credit card from HSBC now.

I have applied for credit card from other banks using the only credit card i have now from HSBC and have successfully got two credit cards from Citibank approved. The second credit card from Citibank was approve just 2 days ago  biggrin.gif

Mind you i applied for the Citibank credit card using my HSBC MasterCard and this MasterCard is not a secured credit card. Just want to avoid any confusion.
It was on 1-year tenure. Auto renewal. But i canceled the card a few months ago.

Alright, I got it smile.gif

Same sharing that not related to credit card but i think it is pretty good for those always do interbank fund transfer.
Now you can transfer fund to certain banks and getting the fund in receiving account IMMEDIATELY using cimbclicks.  thumbup.gif

Refer Instant Transfer

This future is good for people who are doing Interbank trasnfer with immediate effect. thumbup.gif

Yes, SCB Business VISA Platinum is one of the best Platinum cards in the market. This card offers many other benefits. I have already highlighted these in one of my previous postings.

I have swiped my CCs for transactions less than RM10 at Parkson, Jusco, Sogo, Isetan and Coffee Bean. I won't use cash so long as the merchants accept payment via CCs regardless of whatever amount. However, most of the smaller merchants only accept CCs for a specific amount spent.
We have discussed this many times here. Many forummers here did not get 5% cash back for purchases at Jusco. SESB falls under utility bill category, thus giving you 5% cash back.
*
In East Malaysia here such as Miri, Sibu, Kuching, i can say 70% of the merchant only accept CC if your goods is more than RM50.

Agreed.
SCB Business Plat will be my secondary cc next to Ocbc Ti. FYI, all Econsave outlets accept cc for bill amount above RM80. In my hometown I see many hawkers sapu groceries as if no need money (LOL), and they pay CASH! (walao, wat a waste they don't use cc!)

That is really bad advice from your friend. You are paying high interest every day while the cash is earning you next to nothing, a lose-lose situation. Always pay off CC debts when you have the cash.

But hey, the bank loves you...  biggrin.gif

no points. only rebates are what u get.

bcoz bank charge them for each transaction (example 2%) so they dont want to lose much. dats y also got shop that charge additional certain amount (1.8%, 2%, 3%) from total amount bcoz want to cover that charges. big company such as kfc / jusco might have a deal of that charge (maybe only 0.5%) coz their volume (total) sales per months. so if the shop u went stated min rm30 to swipe, then go add things to reach that min amount!  tongue.gif

i'm using this card previously. maybank offered me 3 years free annual fee without any condition, within 3 years upgrade me to platinum then after 3 years offered me another free 3 years annual fee thumbup.gif

but if they not offering annual fee waiver to u, then its NOT waivable ~  sweat.gif

wa.. u must be a big spender for maybank tongue.gif
