ADNOC is a HUGE company in UAE so please be careful as with huge companies, there will be huge scams as a lot if people will want to work there. If they ask you for deposit, for sure it's a scam because ADNOC will NEVER ask for money.

The interview invitation also should be super professional, if you start seeing grammar mistake or spelling errors or fishy email address. For sure that's a scam also.

Added on August 14, 2011, 4:34 amFinished reading Oil & Gas Career (v1) while applying for jobs on various website. Hopefully my efforts would finally paid. Can't stay jobless! cry.gif In case I didn't get into the company I'm bonded with.

Btw guys, I have one problem here, I got an email from shell to book the phone interview slot but sadly it's full already.

"No appointment slot is available for selected appointment block. Please contact the company to schedule appointment again."

What should I do? Who to contact?

Is it possible to just reply to the email they used; careers@shell.com

I'm a shell bonded scholar holder, but to ask this question with the scholarship advisor I think it's not their area of knowledge since it more to the recruitment dept. Plus I already graduated. cry.gif

My company is building a HUGE HUGE Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in the Eastern Province so those in the downstream side may want to see if there is any opportunities.

Good Luck!

Thank you, I've applied for Chemical Engineer (Fresh Graduate) last two weeks. But by looking at my CGPA, pretty sure they're not impressed. But there's no harm in trying. smile.gif

Added on August 16, 2011, 3:52 amI've always have the urge to ask this, how do I apply for any engineering positions in Petronas MLNG, without using backdoor? I took chemical-gas engineering, learnt about downstream mostly but I have more interest for upstream. Just that if I didn't manage to enter that side, I wish I can get involved in LNG industries. The only one place in M'sia is Bintulu. But if I got chances to work overseas, that'll be even better. Just don't see any opportunities here. sad.gif

Im afraid they wont be impressed also.
Only way you can do is work yourself up from scratch somewhere else first.
