Ex-Petronas. I am happy however that Petronas is now willing to pay all sort of bonuses and perks to their staff. I think for Tier 1 & Tier 2 staff, it will be a lot higher than the 5 months.

PETRONAS gives 5 month bonus this year .....

I think it will be on prorate basis, since last year's fy is only 9 month.

Kuala Lumpur: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas)’s 44,000 staff will get at least five months’ bonus this year, the highest in the
national oil corporation’s history.

Sources said the payment is based on its shortened financial year of nine months since Petronas changed its financial year-end to
December 31 from March 31 previously.

Based on this, on an annualised basis, this would translate into a bonus of 6.7 months, better than the previous record high of six months, the sources added.




The windfall apparently was announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak during a townhall meeting with Petronas’ senior management.

my major is electrical power system..does anyone knows about this company? and one more thing,,what are the general responsibilities for electrical engineer for oil and gas company?

I read somewhere (NST) that based on annualised basis it would have been 6.7 months ...
Anyway, 3.8 still excellent!
