diploma level will grant u technician level or field rep level...
try apply around different companies and try to work on your degree once you start...
otherwise try the OT trainee programme for the operators.... (OT=Operation Technician)

operators like Petronas and Shell have OT trainee programmes....
basically structured development programme for diploma entries...
go on the web and search for these...
sometimes it is advertised on papers as well... keep a look out...
as most companies only have 1 intake a year...

You sure or not?
Masters in engineering (material & mechanical) with 7 years working experience only get 6k + pay including all.
*
depends on company...
local service/consultant company.... probably...
mnc... highly unlikely... unless low performer

Process engineer: -
- deals with processes once oil/gas reaches the platform
- partial separation for platforms
- full separation for the plants (onshore)
- i.e. process engineer are required onshore and off shore.
- that said, process engineers work mostly from office for both situations
- it is a WIDE scope but i think you get the idea

Flow assurance Engineer
- deals with fluid.gas flow issues
- scaling, hydrates, icing, waxing, slugging
- FA Engineers job is to ensure all these (above) are mitigated
- most FA experts are pipeline engineers as well
- you deal with flow from the well head to the platform. Once at the platform, the Process Engineer takes over
- FA is a niche market and is of high demand since we are in the Hard Oil phase of O&G

I realised I don't like the office environment. I am a kineasthetic learner and sporty person. I like to go out.
Hmm..And the one I am jealous in oil rigger part is 12 hrs job with 1 month on, 1 month off. In one month off, it's like retiring early in your life than 9-5 pm job.

dude i think you've seen too much tv...
not everyone on the platform/rig is called an Oil Rigger
you so called rigger is one of the lowest level you can go in the entire hierachy of a drilling rig
so find out more on the whole thing before wishing to be something you dont really know about....

1 month on and 1 month off, you can do???
ok... i'll give you the benefit of doubt... but trust me you'll want to go less after that...

Top in what way bro? Track record?

Aker Malaysia is doing fpso or flng? Or are they the pioneers in spar?

Malaysianized? Again in what way? Too many Malaysians? So u are one of those who thinks foreigners are the best? If u are working in one of those companies I guess u shouldn't be hired in the first place as u are Malaysian and I think this is the right time for u to resign and join ur "gods" in Europe.

:-)
*
aker is one of the top 4 subsea companies in the world other than cameron, fmc and vetco gray (GE)

malaysianized? culture wise... well, put it this way...
they think that what they pay you is justified cos thats how malaysians are paid...
progression, wait for the guy in front of you to go first before you; even if you perform (environment)
opinions? keep it to yourself as you are fresh...
get it?

don't think so
