QUOTE(ben3003 @ Aug 5 2011, 09:12 PM) oh kk.. how about any other company in msia that is related to materials engineer? actually i am leaning towards metal industry or metal related. How about swiss profile? Southern steel gave me a call for interview, is southern steel a good company to be in? I heard that working in a foundry is kinda hazardous and prone to get diseases later on. You can always join the operators and do MCI

Having an engineering degree, you can join exxonmobil as an engineer and build up technical skills which will in the future prepare you and be a concrete asset for you to be a manger. You can increase your chance of being a manger by taking for example and MBA program. In short, engineering bachelor's degree combined with MBA master's degree is extremely a powerful tool to be a manager in any engineering company. Frankly, I don't think there are many econs grad doing proj mgr role in exxon for upstream proj... but of course, exxon has many dept.. there are finance, controller, procurement, IT....

QUOTE(kelemou @ Aug 11 2011, 09:45 PM) anyone here heard of cryogenic tank b4? and may i know any job which is related to this... This product is not widely used as it's for very low temperature as low as minus degree Celsius process. Maybe u can search company specifically for Tankage or Vessel Department. Usually requirement is Mechanical Engineering, some Process or Chemical Engineering background is accepted.
