@backspace66 any tips? I've just applied for slb FE thru their website.

my advice is to read through the Schlumberger thread in jobs and career section,there are many details over there about the various stages of the interview.

@figuremeout
I think all the big service company,SLB,Baker,HAL and WTF have vacancies all year round.I always see a bunch of new FE being recruited every month or two.

CSR normally held experience personnel...at least for than 10 years exp. I believe you are offered deputy CSR. I would not encourage to go for it as you wont learn much technical skills rather you learn more about marine issue, project and safety management. From DCSR promoted to CSR require roughly 5 years of working exp. If you cant find any technical skills job, just try it out rather than sitting at home doing nothing.

If you are more interested in technical skills, advice you to go for FE or FSR or Comm. Eng. After 5 years exp, you can become CSR bah...no worries.

Anyone ever heard of East One-Zero-One Sdn Bhd? I have applied for process engineer there and would like to know more about this company. Went to their website at www.east101.com already but it's better if anyone who really know about the company can share about it here.

Thanks in advance!

IME, resume alone is not good enough. Try send your resume with a cover-letter. It works for me though. You can try and share with us the result. rclxms.gif

Yes, they do as long as you have an engineering degree.

FE = Field engineer as you have mentioned.

3.4 is not bad at all. When I do resume screening, I look at the grade first (3 ish should be ok), than I look at specific subject. There are a few subjects that can give an indication on candidate's creativity, smartness, etc.
So yeah, go ahead and send your resume.
*
What kind of subjects actually? U mean, the core subjects taken during our study? unsure.gif

Tq in advance.

CSR = company site representative (if this is the position that u mean?)
CSR is normally experienced person who understand the job that they are in charged in.
