Hi,

May I know when applying SG PR, do we need to submit the photocopies of Birth Cert? If yes, may I know where can we get a certified translation copy of it?

If u do need to submit the photocopies of the Birt Cert...you will need to bring along the original..then when the officer attends to u, he will certify it..if i can remember correctly

Maybe they have an Ops after the holidays.

When I flew into the Budget Terminal on Monday evening, all passengers from incoming flights had to go through the metal scanner and their luggage x-rayed.
*
isnt it normal? even take ktm if incoming all have to go thru the same thing.

Screening is normal for land entry points. Uncommon for airports. And usually the screening at airports is random and for customs purposes. This is the first time I've gone through a metal detector after getting OFF a flight.

If you like salty food with an added bonus of oily. eat out at beijing, nearly every food over there has to have the beijing signature, oily and salty. No wonder the china man loves his KFC, the best of both worlds.

I think theres one at loyang. its at the food centre which also has the famous briyani rice.

I like the BKT at Marsiling lane! it contains just the right mixture of black pepper and Klang's style of saltiness. Since I'm staying in SG and rarely return to KL, might as well just enjoy what SG has to offer!

not really, when u enter using motorcycle, in the peak hours, they just let u pass as there are thousands of motorcycles queuing there and they can't afford to check every single 1 of us. But yesterday its different case. they check every single bikers. but today back to normal.

He used a flotation device which consist of garbage bags and empty soda bottles to swim across during nightfall.

Its actually not that hard to get into singapore illegal from the coast during night fall.

That's true. I was never checked when I was in a car coming into SG. They only took a quick look into the boot at most.

But if you take the bus (or train as well, I think), your bags are always x-rayed.

Hey guys, sorry to divert the topic a little bit.
I am looking forward to go work in Singapore, want to ask if anyone here has any experience in bringing in pets from Malaysia over to Singapore... My wife & I have 2 fat cats that we intend to bring over.
Please do share with me your experience ya if there is anyone... I have just started searching for information and thought it would be good to try my luck here :-)

Thanks guys!
