Bringing cats into malaysia no prob, bringing dogs is a diff story due to "double standards". Singapore is rather ngiau about pets since they can be a vector for diseases like rabies.

QUOTE(wlcling @ Jan 7 2011, 03:57 PM) singapore got 100 fat cats for each HDB already wo... Not until that many, more like 10-20 cats her hdb. Somemore when nobody is around, you can abuse them like tying nylon rope around their heads and bash them on concrete walls as a way of population control. Seen some china worker near the dorms do this as "entertainment". Not like anybody gonna miss a stray cat.

Of course lar. You give them your leftover chap fan food when their daily meals on consist of either dry pellet food or tin meat. Singapore hdb cats are fed better then some africans for god sake. But there are some which are friendly to the point they just sleep right in the middle of the walking pathway.

QUOTE(washabushi @ Jan 6 2011, 10:47 AM) guys...do u need me to compile all these food related post? our own cari cari makan It will make a great guide for us to satisfy our cravings when we're long way from home. Have to thank you in advance. Oh btw, I found a stall selling very good char kueh teow at the outside hawker centre at Jurong Point. The kueh teow is of similar standard to the malaysian version but it does not have prawns in it. The kueh teow only comes with lap cheong, egg and veggie. As for ramly burger, I usually go to tanjung pagar ktm station to satisfy my sinful craving. However, the quality is really a far cry compared to the burger truck stall @ss15 subang jaya. The patty they used is not the actual ramly one but I would say the overall taste is somewhat similar to the actual ramly burger. On top of that, you could also get some teh tarik and goreng pisang at the ktm station. If you decide to go there, pls keep in mind that the station will be closed down by mid of this year.

QUOTE(elie3173 @ Jan 4 2011, 05:15 PM) i am currently working in malaysia with salary of rm6k. i have an offer from bank in singapore with salary of sgd4.5k. i have been working for 7 years and i m in a manager post. is the offer giving me low salary pay? In my opinion, you can request more than that (seem like he is cutting 25% of ur 6k without conversion). Maybe try to negotiate saying you need more since property and rental price so high in Singapore (this should be a valid point). Anyway, it's all up to on you whether willing to accept the offer at that price.

izzit? to me, Singapore and malaysia is just the same thing. But my current job is the most stress free job in my whole entire life. so Singapore = less stress compare to Malaysia. For me, i think it depends on what company and what position you are holding la. when u got a good job and company, that's when u should start enjoying ur life. if not, keep searching until you get one.
