Hi. I will be going to Singapore for a contract staff job at bank. Thinking to apply a PR straight away after i m there. Do u think the chance of me getting the PR is higher?
*
hmmm, bank job should be quite 'good' chances for PR but contract staff... hmmm...but anyway you have no choice what.. you do need to work there first before get PR.

not that bad right? I mean ppl bound to get promoted, but I hate bootlicker.
*
well i used to be that person's colleague, but i moved out to take on another portfolio. So i have the skills of both portfolio, and that person has nil skills for my current portfolio... so how could that person manage me?

And the irony is the current skills that the person knows were all passed down from me!

#rant.. .think will be on MC on Monday. After a clean record of no MC for 6 years straight, this really boils my temper.

Hey guys, it's me again..

There are 3 type of food that cannot be eaten that I experience in SG while working here, it's just damn yucky:-

1) Chau Kuew Tiew (Why so sweet??.. put sugar ah to fry ah?)
2) 酸甘汁 aka lemon+plum drink - walao, it is too sour+abit of bitter! Cant compare to Malaysia's style
3) Tomyam - real yucky (Tomyam in SG is the worst).. Apparently, every hawker serve the same yucky tomyam.

BUT SG do serve good BKT and Kuey Chap (cannot be found in KL).

Just wanna share my experience b4 I go to bed. Bye.
*
actually char kuey tiow after a while you will feel its quite ok to eat... haha needs some getting used to... i like the siham though... seems cleaner and not overcooked.. hmm individual preference

if want penang style, can visit ABC market which i think not that comparable to Penang or go Paparich lo.. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(washabushi @ Jan 5 2011, 12:04 AM)
by the way guys,
any1 of u tried withdrawing cash in Malaysia using Singapore's ATM card?
I know there will be rm10charges(heard from my colleague)
but do we need to activate anything before that?
and also how bout the conversion rate?
wanna know if u guys know before i call them n ask...
thank u

Added on January 5, 2011, 12:05 am

i only ate 1 at tanjong pagar complex...its those food court and another 1 at dhoby ghout there the food court
both serve thai food only...and both ok for me
*
If not wrong ATM withdrawal overseas is either $3 or $5. No need to activate anything. Conversion rate follow bank's rate la... (which is as u know not that fantastic)

Added on January 5, 2011, 12:31 amif any1 can find reasonably nice Klang style Bak Kut Teh in SG, please tell me!!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Wanton Noodle in Singapore is the most awful I have ever tasted. It's beyond my comprehension when I see people queuing to place order. The pungent smell....like detergent or a bleach agent.
*
i found a few same standard as KL... there's one at ABC market... only $2 per serving summore... biggrin.gif

Not until that many, more like 10-20 cats her hdb.

Somemore when nobody is around, you can abuse them like tying nylon rope around their heads and bash them on concrete walls as a way of population control.

Seen some china worker near the dorms do this as "entertainment". Not like anybody gonna miss a stray cat.
*
haha so i was just exaggerating... but i like fat cats.... but when make *chut *chut sound, they don't bother wan... damn lansi.. too well fed already. doh.gif
