just share a bit info after i checked with MOM, if renew passport we only need to change info on spass not renew again. so its quite easy.
*
Meaning we can come back into Singapore with our EPass (Without re-chopping our passport etc) and we just need to send the update document to MOM?

Just make sure you're comparing apple to apple, in terms of the job size.

If the job size is similar but the offer stands, are you moving from a MNC in MY to a SME in SG?

Must bring old passport as well when passing through checkpoint. can use non-updated e/spass.
after come back, send the form and updated documents to MOM plus inform your HR. the e/spass expiry date still the same just to update MOM info has been changed.

Not exactly. I'm saying if the SG job has the same kind of job scope, size/impact and responsibilities as his Malaysian job, then yes, they should offer him that or more.

If he's being offered a smaller job, obviously the salary will be lower.

*
true, should be quite equivalent, maybe a smaller company and plus singapore can easily target the IT execs from india who would gladly do it for 5k? haha just guessing... 9k RM for IT exec sounds abit too high, but then again i'm quite an IT idiot.

But i thought tat someone who hold, for example e pass before should be able to hold back the same e pass right?

Also, e pass and s pass is not much diff, but s pass to work permit having some diff such as if u wanna sign a phone contract, u need to deposit a lum sum of money, where as s pass and e pass do not.

I have phone & broadband contracts already, will that cause any conflicts?

my new company offered me $2.3k but if i take WP, i think they will only write 1.8k (but still giving me 2.3k). I'm wondering will that affect my record, as 1.8k is actually lower than my current salary (2k).

WP will have a very low chance in applying PR. Especially with this current sensitive period.....

OOT: Anyway, I just got my pass, thus officially makes me working in Singapore rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

should I request them to apply s pass for me? I heard that their s pass applications all got rejected. I'm confused too why they would apply EP for me while all SP already got rejected...
