QUOTE(Jurlique @ Jan 16 2011, 12:24 AM) That's right. it wud b 1 day leave on this coming thursday...what m i supposed 2 tell him People tends to be suspicious especially while you are taking half-day leave on odd-days such as Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. To be honest, 90% ppl take half day on these days for interview lah. Unless u take whole day, then I wont suspicious. |

QUOTE(crapp0 @ Feb 21 2011, 10:39 AM) I believe that somewhere in singapore, there is a construction project being handled by mcconell dowell and not exclusively in jurong island. I think it was for the SMRT expansion project but im not 100% sure since i saw their banner at a construction site. McDow is the contractor for C916 Downtown Line 2 (along Upper Bukit Timah Road~@Goh&Goh Building) This post has been edited by fbjkl: Feb 22 2011, 01:06 AM |

QUOTE(Nokia convert @ Mar 28 2011, 12:49 PM) Sounds like this company is trying to squeeze you dry. I'm sure there are other better options around...keep looking! agree. quite standard FYI, I started at 2.5k fresh grad and was increased to 2.75k after confirmation. I only have a bachelor eng degree. Don't take my after confirmation salary as an absolute figure. My boss was happy with my performance so he gave me a 10% increment. Yours may vary. just that chinaman company bosses nowadays r trying to squeeze my juniors dry by giving them S$2.2K / S$2.3K as a starting pay... |
