streamyx 2nd level called me just now. Aziz called me.

Told me will upgrade to 2Mb package as free. Ask me to try the speed again with:

Shut down modem 15sec, start modem... speed test....

so below is the result... problem still remain.....

what i can do next ????

now my download speed

10kb/sec barely go 20kb/sec

fcuk la....

very dissapointing

It seems to be capped international routing..
Try reconnect and get different range of IP and do test again.

reporting from ipoh. my speed for 1mbps streamyx..

Doesnt seems to work. As had spend 3 hrs to tried this method, and almost get all the IP range within my area and the result the still the same. Even with my own company VPN Just for testing purpose.

Not surprising I think
There is nothing the technicians can do.

Bandwidth shaping happens at a way higher level than local ports or anything near us.

Maybe someone who have good English should write a letter to The Star or NST, and hopefully its publish?

VPN does encrypt your data, it should be works..

My company (Hint: NTT Do**mo ) has several router over the world thou, had tried all the VPN connection from nearest SG, JPN, AUS, Saudi Arab, Belgium & etcs but also given the same result.

guys,make a report first at TM,then claimed rebate if this problem does not solve in a month,this is what those 2nd level tell me

YES 4G is not create price war in internet, but its create speed limit war. want unlimited usage plan, have limited speed. want high speed, pay unlimited money.

next time maybe all ISP don have unlimited plan already. YTL destroy our market

yes..my streamyx is very the slow...

ok i change my connection setting. Previously using google dns which is 8.8.8.8
now using streamyx dns : 202.188.0.133:53, 202.188.1.5:53

Connection back to normal.
Ip address 60.51.X.X
1mbps acc
