rather than buying the expensive calibrator, better you just buy the pre-calibrated monitor (dell u2410 or better) tongue.gif
those calibrator costs rm400 or above in ebay

I have asked before for dead pixels coverage, it's 6 total to get 1-on-1 exchange. if you have 5 dead pixels and 1 bright pixel then you're eligible, and even 1 bright pixel only is eligible.

Need 6 dead pixels before can get 1 to 1 exchange? What is this??!! doh.gif

p/s: Anyone knows how to make a pixel bright? brows.gif

There is SpyderGallary designed specially for iPad which uses the Spyder puck for it. I'm using on my iPad 2 and there are differences.

I just call Acer, and ask them regarding Acer HN274H Monitor.

One guy tell me, it'll be available in 2-3 weeks. Is it true? Anyone have information regarding this?

Lets see if I can somehow get my Spyder to work on both my monitors. Cause I'm using express only now kinda regret. I do not have another IPS to compare unfortunately. Only have the samsung 2233SW which is a TN.

Added on August 6, 2011, 9:59 pmOh I just recalled, can compare against my iPad. It's an IPS panel right? =D

Oh yeah, Apple also uses IPS on almost all of its LCD products, might be able to compare but iPad2's IPS but unsure the panel uses by iPad2, worth a try! notworthy.gif

Almost all LCD monitor come with 3 years right now I believe, only Dell can up its warranty to 5 years with a little $ upgrade. wink.gif

Seems to be using H-IPS, worth to compare I guess ;-). E-IPS (U2412M) vs H-IPS (iPad).

backlight bleeding are common for any lcd panel especially glossy display, if it is serious, that can be a problem. I dont think it will spread more since the backlight will become dim from time to time, less backlight brightness, less backlight bleeding. But the IPS Glow(backlight bleeding becoming yellow tint on black blackgound) is really common for e-ips display, even with 0% brightness was set
