AOC quality  good ( based on my sis AOC lcd) but i hate the touch control panel..so damn difficult to adjust setting

dude just increase another rm200-300
you'll have too many choices   

with rm300++ you can get 19-22" lcd

RM300~RM400 can only gets you max 20" (no Full HD), RM5xx can gets you 21.5~23" Full HD, which is quite value for now, Dell one even offer LED backlight at that price range vs Samsung which needs RM700+.
I wonder what's the price of AOC in the West but it's quite expensive here at East so I didn't recommend my friend to take AOC.

The viewing angles are bad based from reviews.Have a look at the LG E2350T RM550+-,the unit i saw have ok viewing angles.

Any reason to support it?

I thought i missed the chance too because i forgot to order by the 17th.I called dell up today and mentioned that i would like to buy with the extra discount because dell website didnt work for me on sunday.
They agreed and i bought it at 539rm

Yes it was not entirely the whole story, i was watching battlestar galactica mini series bluray, and by the time i read this post in Lyn, it was too late   ie Dell website didnt work in accepting the coupon

I think  even at 609rm its a pretty good price anyway, i was planning to get it next month but this extra 70rm makes it a bit sweeter.
I suppose the 2312 model is around the corner.

Just received my U2311H, do I need edit any settings? And how do you check for dead pixel?

nope you can't you should just spend little more to get the warranty. dell warranty is great.
