Guys, please advice me on this :
1) Dell U2311H 23" W UltraSharp Monitor RM 609.00
2) Dell ST2420L 24-inch full HD monitor with LED RM 589.00
Why the 23" screen more expensive than 24". Somemore, the 24" can play full HD movie.
I believe there is something special about the 23"... Someone can advice me?
Let say :
1) Which is better to play game? 2) Which is better to watch Full HD Movie 1080p?
Really need an explanation:)

QUOTE(zerorating @ Jul 7 2011, 05:52 AM) the reason why u2311h is special because its using ips panel and it is the cheapest monitor with ips panel. With ips panel you got better colour production, wider viewing angle, more durable pixel (less chance getting stuck/dead pixel) and better contrast ratio, plus you got zero-stuck pixel warranty. The only con for u2311h are smaller display, higher response time, lack of hdmi port and less modern monitor design. For answering your question, u2311h are better for both gaming (unless you can see ghosting) and movies playback due to reason above. Thank for your clear explanation. Really appreciate it. So, there is no HDMI port . Do you think it's important ?

QUOTE(viruz019 @ Aug 10 2011, 12:01 PM) hey guys, i asked at the hardware Q&A but no answer so i guess asking here wud be better.. any1 noe what i shud look at if i wanna buy 3d monitor? i wanna buy the new samsung 23" 3d monitor but seems like some people disagree with it..dono why x_X It'll not support Nvidia 3D Vision. But you still can play game using it's own Glass included. Conclusion is : If you own ATI Gcard, I suggest you go for that monitor. But if you own a Nvidia Gcard. I prefer you choose other brand that support 3D. Alienware maybe (23" Rm 13xx)

QUOTE(WSL999 @ Aug 10 2011, 02:36 PM) Ok you have to see the actual monitor yourself. Don't get carried away by other comments as it's not accurate. Since Samsung store have complete range of models. You can see the difference with your own eyes then make decision. For the 27" easily above RM1,500 if not mistaken. Sunway Pyramid or Low Yat also got Samsung 27" 3D RM 17xx Added on August 10, 2011, 7:42 pmQUOTE(celciuz @ Aug 10 2011, 06:51 PM) Just opened up my U2412M! , love it.
