Don't think so, it's their most successful product
Good business sense say that you only put discount on old stocks that you want to get rid of, not new or popular products.
So, good luck lol biggrin.gif

LED and LCD is 2 different technology, don't get confused. shakehead.gif
LED is not hot but the components on the circuit board does emitting heats especially transistor, so it's normal.
If your monitor's right side does not have much heat means LED is not hot at all.

My first time buying from Dell online, so would like to ask how does the status works? Do Dell usually commit later date but deliver earlier?

Earlier my confirmation email says by 11/8 will deliver, then today when I checked the online status it says 18/8 yawn.gif.

But for the status it is already 'in transit'? Point is, does Dell usually deliver earlier than committed date?

ETA is estimated date only. Previously they took 10 working days to deliver my S2409W altho ETA is 7 working days. My house is just located about 30mins from Dell. For sure will hire courier company like SkyNet for delivery, so there might be a delay in the process.

Don't think normal warranty would cover accidental damage so No.
You can go and ask at Acer service center, but they might need to take apart your LCD screen to have a look at the serial number, and that will cost you (labor charge). Display should be around 700~1xxx depends on size and resolution.
That's how Acer works, they sell cheap and charge you later. sweat.gif

Just received SMS, it will delivered tomorrow! Wow, much faster than I expected. I guess Dell usually deliver earlier than committed date? or I'm just being lucky lol.

Good morning ladies & gentlemen,

After thorough findings and survey still find that DELL offer reasonable yet promising performance for their Professional series and Ultra Sharp models.

Anyone here with insights experience to help me pick between P2411H (5ms) Black to White RM609 & U2412M (8ms gray to gray) 300cd/brightness RM899.

Sorry to have bothered anybody here to read and help.

This monitor is for my company however the user require higher end specs.

Thanks

State your preferred budget and usage.
You want it cheap? Or you can afford RM899?
What do you want from the monitor? Professional graphics works? Movie and games? Or just documents and web surfing?

Well for graphical works I would recommend you wait for better U2412M review, and see if the LED + IPS can beat U2311H in wide color range, and of course, viewing angle, etc.
If you can't wait, I would recommend U2311H for its already proven.
