yeah... this thread kinda dead because most collectors slowly resisting the pvc poison due to ridiculous price hike for new figures ... plus the crazy yen rate now...
last time, a nice 1/6 scale figure still can buy at rm250 below .... haihh~ |

Just when I think I'm out from collecting PVCs, I just ordered Alter's Hazuki from XL-Shop. I just hope that they have her in stock because it sooo cheap! (RM84 only!)
My last order will be Kotobukiya's 1/5 Nanako, still waiting for TFM's shipment to arrive.  |

I was not amused when I heard that news because I PO-ed it. But then again it's just a minor missing detail and nothing entirely major (although perfectionists will start complaining about it) but I seriously wonder what happened to QC over at GSC to allow such a thing to happen.

I received my BRS Animation ver. today and upon opening to inspect....WTF one of the twin tails for her hair broke off from the head.

Eg: TFC ikkitousen fig interested? Else I think most of my collection are pretty 'common' (what I have, SHINKAWA and EXILED GUNDAM have ady). What is the event in question? |

Have anyone of you touched up your PVCs? I just got one of megahouse's older QBs - Elina, and although the figure itself is good, her weapon is an almighty fail! A spear that is completely black like a piece of unpainted gundam runner!!! Is it meant to be like that, i.e anime accurate?
If not, I am thinking of AB-ing it ala a plamo kit. Anyone tried this before and any pointers? |

2046's CS are prompt, and flexible and reasonable. Your demands might be too high for them to consider. 2 parts epoxy are great for these resin figures... |

EMS is safe, if DM and BRS together, i think ur shipping cost will be about 150? but since the figures are relatiely cheap, u wont have to worry about being taxed, though it might get opened by kastam since the box will be huge lol

curious bout bootleg miku vn02 though. wonder hows the quality.
tons of bootlegs in a shopping complex in my town. creative labo ignis, dragon ball, final fantasy...the whole section. but dunno anyone buys. i mean those pvcs aren't really for kids (who dunno bout bootlegs n watnot) and if you're into pvcs then most probably u know bout bootlegs and won't buy them. |

..they shipped them together anyway, even though I received two seperate order confirmation emails. I did try asking them to seperate, but it's already on the way...so..Just pray Kastam CNY mood ignore my box. |

Uhm, you're tracking via Japanpost right? According to poslaju it's:
Departure from inward office of exchange >> Item held in customs etc. So I think the package will only go through kastam..after it reaches your state. Best of luck bro! Hopefully they'll ignore your package! |

Hmmm, nothing really special about my kastams trip.
Found the place safely, kastam lady ask what's inside, I say toys, and opened it to show her. Tax total (minus my books ) was Rm58, bargained down to Rm52 lol ^^;;But when she was going to calculate the total, she left me in the waiting room with my box, and told me "Not to run away with your package" L-LOL, before she mentioned it, I hadn't thought about it at all, but when she said that, I wondered if I could run to my car with the box in time I'm just happy I got my stuff safely~ (box was huge though..) Thanks to everyone here for their advice! P.S Does anyone have a first run BRS ori.ver? The second run one seems a little more pinkish compared to my black blade ver. |

yeah true... the only naruto series scale figure ever released was kakashi.. under gem series ...
bleach too many laa... the shinigami, the arancar, the hollow each group have its popular favorite characters . and now they already start with new arc, the xcution group ... with new ability feature "fullbring" .. but we cant deny, one piece, bleach and naruto are the best manga around the world to date ... any companies who have opportunity to make the figures, for sure wont let it pass .. maybe probabaly because of licensing .. Currently between those 3, One Piece has the most figure released, followed by Bleach and then Naruto. Maybe Naruto character design are not detailed enough? |

so there maybe another reason for them not to do it ... for naruto, there are lots of trading figures, dx figures got few, action figures pun banyak ... but scale figure, only kakashi which recently released ... bleach was under megahouse last time ... 1st wave, ichigo & rukia .. 2nd wave, renji & inoue .. 3rd wave, yoruichi & matsumoto .. then hiatus for a very2 long time.. until they released hiyori & neliel .. then hitsugaya .. |

naruto wont end until like 2016 or something lol.. too draggy.. but at least got a goal, naruto become hokage and die. lol but the story getting too boring cuz they wanna drag it so they can rake out more money, i'm guessing after they beat madara, sasuke escapes some how, and become ven more super powered, and kabuto will be the next supervillain beside sasuke, then naruto will beat the shit out of kabuto, then sasuke become more powerful with some zettai mangekyou super sharingan of the sharingan eyes and naruto will be like have like the nuclear resen shuriken to bomb sasuke
one piece oso wont end till like 2030 or something, good story, have a goal, is to get one piece, but the villains oso keep coming, but i suppose its acceptable, since luffy from zero to hero, the baddies oso from zero to villain, gets stronger as we progress further to one piece. bleach i hope it ends soon, its getting.. i dunno.. too boring, the storyline is getting boring.. like no idea already. first ichigo steal rukia's shinigami power, the he gets his own by becoming a hollow/shinigami, then suddenly got ppl like him, vizards.. help him.. then suddenly he lose all his power, then suddenly some other group out of no where say wanna help him get back his power and power him up, the out of no where this villain from hell kononnya more powerful than aizen says he wants ichigo's hollowfication power.. lol.. the story like no more idea then simply add another arc.. apa la. like the story from the start has no ultimate goal. just keep adding and adding lol |

huh T.T but i paid up full payment~......
at first is like this....the item i had PO was rm280 around tht....but when the item arrive here...he tell me tht it rise the price to rm370.....so i said tht nvm thn i dun wan it.....but thy say wait thm have to sold out ur item thn can refund......so i wait wait up till now no news thn i say i bought it will pay up...so after pay up...no reply at all........it has been three week.... |

there are a few other local sellers in this forum that are not bad oso ma. the ones i deal with b4 is like animetsu is good. but now they not taking any PO for now i think momotoy oso ok, sometimes slow reply, then got dcodetoys, just POe'd with them once recetnly, not sure about after service yet, got kuroneko toys oso, new store, dont have much stuff yet, but again, i only PO recently, after service tak tau lo, but so far service quite fast and good la so u can try these fellas oso la. |

good to hear it's gonna settle soon ... though it had took 3 weeks ... even buying from japan and get the item only took around 2 weeks the slowest shipping
and preorder at rm280 .. then price increased to rm370 .. about rm90 .. reason of adding shipping to it ...? hmm, next time KID991, just buy from japan... you'll get an EMS shipping around 4-5 days of delivery to your doorstep .. i hope ppl can be more honest in future, not just thinking about getting more profits and screw up other ppl ... seriously if you ask me, i would say, just cancel your order and get your full refund... why need to feed them more, it wasnt your mistake in 1st place ... even places like XL or even Animetsu, you dont have to cover their shipping cost such as that ... rm90 difference for shipping adding reason, that is just bu||sh|t ... it's a daylight robbery on you man ..
and not replying you after few PMs and suddenly when you go public then reply .. just made me thinking, probably they ignoring you until you get bored asking and forget about this and they would be gone away with your payment .. or maybe, the item was sold to other buyers in 1st place .. despite you were the 1st in line preorder ... then, they need to cover your order, they have to get another 1 that cost abit more... and since they want to get profit out of it still, they just jacking up the price for that purpose... owhh.. i was talking from my experience.. |

WE have yet to hear the story from both sides, so dont bash them first.
i believe that maybe something happened, should let the store owner clear up before bashing. anyway if one local store doesnt take your fancy, there are always others around. dont condemn all of them just because of one bad experience with another. everyone is just trying to make some money, maybe some are dishonest, some are honest, we can only find out through experience. |

i guess seller still cannot simply increase pre oder price unless stated and agreed by both parties....by the way,my bro experience this in xl shop...been told shipping cost high..the item simply added up rm15 like that...end up my bro have to pay it...anyway this case half solve cause he ask my bro to deduct the money from the future items...

i wanted to just let the case settle after i discuss this over with the buyer, but i guess i need to step in here to clear things. regarding the sudden price increase, it is most likely due to my mistake of not entering the estimated weight when i open the pre-order previously thus the calculation didn't include the shipping, and thus show "not available" at the pre-order price i think when KID991 ordered, the in-stock price was shown the in-stock retail price (still without shipping added) so in this case, i'd admit it might be my mistake, i'll discuss with the buyer for compensation (refund or others) i'd also apologise for any slow replies anyone has received lately, we're trying our best to speed things up. But I'd also like to add that as a figure collector myself, i've been trying hard to support our community here as best as we can Few things we've been doing as giving longer collection time, releasing orders while refunding ur deposit (once we sold the item for u), promoting figure collection community at events(at our own cost) etc. So i believe we have our merits that many are still placing orders with us even if Japan sites offer big discounts. So I hope this clear things up, we're not insisting that we (speaking for other local retailers) are totally better than japan stores, but at least we still have done enough to be given at least some credit for. |
