Have anyone of you touched up your PVCs? I just got one of megahouse's older QBs - Elina, and although the figure itself is good, her weapon is an almighty fail! A spear that is completely black like a piece of unpainted gundam runner!!! Is it meant to be like that, i.e anime accurate?

If not, I am thinking of AB-ing it ala a plamo kit. Anyone tried this before and any pointers?

Wanna tumpang tanya, is Volks a decent/reputable figurine manufacturer? Tempted to get the old Queen's BladeGate Mai made by them.

been looking for her quite a bit, and it seems that she and tomoe memang got demam campak one, no small thanks to paint smudging on earlier QB releases.

how bad is yours? tomoe looks so much better than the 'rebellion equivalent' ta nyan who i find boring and well... dull.

Is 'Penguin Parade' a reputable manufacturer?
Cause this looks real nice.

i don't think you should be collecting figurines in order to resell them.

actually this is a common problem when it comes to collectibles - people buy not what they want, but what is deemed to be expensive. prices keep rising because of this 'artificial' demand. in the end price crash and industry nearly dies with it, much like the comic book industry in the late 90s.

but you will never get retail price for second hand goods though. especially collectibles where the 'worth price' is never going to be matched by the 'transaction price'.
